- Jamie Stewart| 1 replyI made 2000 pounds last week and I've only been in the company a year.
Doesn't sound like a scam if you make it past your interview and up to management.
You don't make 5 grand a week as a door to door salesman, but you can quite easily as the managing director...but as we work kn commission, we could also make zero.
But of course we don't because what we so is so simple...most people say no and a few say yes...
I wonder what your all earning, and whether you clock watch because you hate your jobs so much.
Should of stuck at it, but oh well. - Abdul@ Jamie Stewart are you sure of what you are saying because tomorrow is my second interview and I am feeling it sounds messed up. I WAS NOT hence I was not asked about my experiences that were listed on my CV.
How can one only out of hundred say " made 2000 pounds last week and I've only been in the company a year.
Doesn't sound like a scam if you make it past your interview and up to management."- Caller: Live Innovations

- MJ replies to forgetfulI worked for a company in southampton called Blueline, I was in the Business for 6 months, and felt like i had no progression. I was then forced to a London for a whole week, in which i quit. I didn't make any money for about 2 months. This resulted in me going into a financial crisis. Shortly after I left, the company in Southampton closed down, due to masses of people leaving for different reasons, not being paid for sales, lack of progression. The managers are all lying, the manager Boyd Parker, said he bought a brand new porsche, when in fact he bought one second hand. He forced his team, to work from 1 in the afternoon, till as late as 10 at night. They all lie about how much money they are earning.
The businesses mentioned all come under the conglomerate company called Perdm.
Stay away from these companies. - AnonA woman called Stephanie, Business Administrator, emailed me about a job at Citipeak Promotions in Newcastle on Monday, with the only contact number given as 07850595701, which I was supposed to ring to arrange an interview. I rang the number several times and it either went straight to voicemail or rang until it went to voicemail. I left a message and also emailed the address she'd emailed me from which was a general information one (rather than a specific person's) but there was no reply. A different person called me today, I think she said her name was Sarah, and she said the position I applied for had been filled but there were jobs available in sales and marketing and could I come for an interview. When I asked her to specify the job she just said sales and marketing again and she would email me the details. I mentioned trying to ring and email Stephanie on Monday and she said 'I'll put you through to an administrator' and hung up (can you even transfer from a mobile number??) and hasn't emailed anything to me. I've looked at other job adverts for the company (there are loads) in sales and marketing roles and they all mention customer acquisition, and working near foot traffic and being self-employed. Their website doesn't give a contact number for the office and when I googled Stephanie's number it came up as a contact number for Big Time Marketing in Hove, MG Limited in Norwich and Source Marketing Direct in London, and like you say there's no likes or anything on their Facebook & Twitter pages. I also couldn't find their company number on their website (although that might be irrelevant). It all seems a bit dodge to me. Even if it isn't I don't want to be stuck standing outside shopping centres in the rain or to be self-employed so I think I'll give the interview a miss...

- NickThe business model for Business to Customer -- direct marketing/sales -- and the conglomerate (PerDm) is not a scam. It is a business model that makes money and has a strong network.
Like any real business, if you don't work hard and provide a product people want, or unable to garner customers, you'll make no money.
The 'owner' would also have to be a good manager of people and self.
All the offices you go to are 'owners' that are learning to run a business, good or bad, and are giving the applicant the same chances.
Yes, I did work for one of these companies -- and know/met most the names mentioned above. It is tough. It is unlike most careers and I learnt a lot. But I'm crap at sales and it wasn't for me.
It is tough running a business. If one can make it work, then one has an opportunity to make a good deal of money. Whatever the business. - JayThis is a scam, the company is also known as Dominion Acquisitions, they are a scam. Very unscrupulous and very misleading, you end up at an interview at this address Dominion Acquisitions Limited, 21 Risborough St, Southwark. SE1 0HG and then they give u an interview for ten minutes with another person,\so two of you will be interviewed and they will ask questions about yourself and if you are a leader or a follower, etc. She talks fast and tries to be very personable and likable (the interviewer) and then says she will let u know if you got the job.
You leave and a couple of hours later they give you a call to say you got the job and guess what? Everyone gets the job! No one doesn't ever NOT get the job.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. PLEASE READ THIS AND PASS IT ON!- Caller: DOMINION ACQUISITIONS

I've done some research on them and what I've found hasn't made me feel any less apprehensive.- Caller: Citipeak Promotions LTD
- G replies to AnonI stupidly did not do my research before hand and went to an interview today at "Live Innovations"
Stephanie ( I assume Greene from what I read above) called me and arranged the interview this morning. I went to their "office" this afternoon and filled in a fake enquiry form with no company logo, and had an "interview" with some Australian guy named Tom Harris. He later called me back to come back tomorrow morning for an all day interview and meet the team and see how they work?!
I also had another phone call this morning from someone called Vicky Shaw at Citipeak Promotions LTD. to meet with CEO Nick Johnson. After reading all the comments above I will not bother going!
Looks like a scam to me! - RoseIf you ever get a call from CitiPeak Promotions, run a mile!
I was emailed, very much like you all, and called a few times by 3 different numbers about the job, and stupidly went to the interview and the observation day. It just seemed too good to be true that you could make a 6 figure sum after one year, even thought I knew it couldn't be real. I just had this gut feeling that. I was so, so tempted, and nearly turned down a good job at Banana Republic to go for this one! (I didn't turn it down, and am now employed there..)
The offices were unprofessional, cramped and being used by multiple organisations. The employees were either being completely brainwashed and believed the promises of their superiors, or they were in on the scam and were trying to make a quick pound by fooling, mostly young and naive 18-23 year olds into thinking that they could start up their own business.
Little did I know that my housemate had been contacted by a similar organization and had gotten past the interview and was at her observation day a day after me. We compared notes to find that we had been promised the same things, both had the same sales plan, the law of averages, the 5 steps to a conversation and the 8 steps to success! We were shocked and looked to the internet to provide proof of a scam, just to be even more shocked by the amount of people that these promises were being made to.
I am listing some numbers here so that hopefully someone can benefit from my experiences:
07917 672024 - Nick Johnson himself.
07428 755201 - No idea but linked to citipeak
07539 207295 - Jeanine
07850 595701 - Anna
0208 150 7231 - the notorious Vicky Shaw- Caller: CitiPeak Promotions LTD
- SmartI got the interview with CitiPeak Promotions and Market Storm global for the same day and I got a little bit suspicious because both interviews where at the same address - 23-26 St. Alban's Place, London, N1 0NX. Later on the same day I received an email from administration director of Ventas Central, and guess what? I was invited to the interview in exact the same address again. So I decided to do al little research about all these companies listed above, and I found that they all are the same door to door pyramid marketing scam!
Few tips how to spot them before going to the interview:
1. All those companies will send you an email first (it always goes to spam), with the same text:
"Please contact us to discuss this application further via either email or phone. If I do not hear from you in the next several hours I will try to give you a call"
Any proper recruiting agents would never do that, you would get a call straightaway.
2. Some time after the email you will receive a call from the company. You won't be asked any questions related to your personality, competence, or previous experience. "phone interview" would take not more then 2 minutes and Again, proper recruiting agents would never do that.
3. When you will get to the companies website look for anything what does not make sense, for example:
In CitiPeak promotions website Under the "Company Team" you will find only one person. Also real companies usually has a Client list with minimum 3 client names on it. If you fail to find Client list or it has only 1 client, most likely it will be scam.
And the last thing. If you you have even a little doubt about the company, just google and check if it has any scam related reviews.
I hope my comment will save time for you guys.- Caller: CitiPeak promotions

- CarlaThanks guys,
I only realised who these guy really were after checking my email. I originally thought it was an interview for another job when I got the call,a job which I really want. I only realised it was a "marketing" firm once I read the confirmation email, they must of gotten my details online. I'm relieved since it means I dont have to frantic over an interview for tomorrow since, I dont even remember sending any application to these people.
