Just had a call from that number. a man mumbled something probably his name and the name of his company (i could hear a typical office noise in the background). and then quickly moved to that sleek chat 'how're you doing today'. when I asked him what he was colling me for, he disconnected. that's a second call I've had today, the previous one was from a number I've found on the site already: 01554784040 - this one, exactly as mentioned before, disconecced when I answered.
anyone recognises the number?

bloke said he was an o2 adviser he told me all about my contract. he new what i was paying each month and wat phone i had etc. he said because my contract was coming to an end he could do me a deal. i said i wanted to see what phones were on the market and he said he would call me back this wed just gone at midday. i heard nothing back. the odd thing is i went into the 02 shop to look at phones and the manager told me that 02 do not call customers in relation to renewing there contract!!

Had a call from this number at lunchtime. I could hear a lot of noise in the background and when I said hello he hung up. I think it's something to do with O2 as my boyfriend had the same call and is on the same contract as me, but we're not due for upgrade til August. Glad you mentioned they don't do upgrades over the phone- I'll remember that the next time someone calls.

Got a call this morning.  Rang once and before I had a chance to answer, hung up.
