Call from Red Button Security, Maidstone. http://www.rb-security.co.uk I said I was TPS registered because I do not want these type of calls. The operator, Catherine, said she was new and she was only quoting what she had been told. Same old excuse!

As per previous post. Young woman asked me if I had heard about the Red Button scheme,which provides for the installation of smoke alarms. I said I have 2, she said most people don't. She said that she assumed that I had heard in the media about the increase in burglaries in my area and enquired if I had an alarm system. I said yes, fully monitored. Did I have a contract with the firm? Yes. She then asked me to confirm my name and address, at which stage I said there was no point in wasting her or my time with continuing and terminated the conversation. I belong to TPS,plus the on line registration system ( I've forgotten what its called)and I am XD & have been so for over 30 years.

I am having the same problem, they have now passed two deadlines to furnish me with the company that sold them my elderly mother's contact details. They gave me incorrect information and tried to fob me off. I am very worried by the methods used by this company to get a foot in the door. My mother is registered with TPS and also ex directory, how do they ignore this AND get away with it.?
