Received a scam sms from this number even the spelling was off, so obvious.

CONGRATULATION!! Your number won R1.2 million at GMA Bonanza. Your Ref. No is SQM86K. To claim prize call VIN MORGAN on Tel: 0837710717. T&C apply.

Even phoned the guy off a land line number to tell him to go to hell. When I asked him what country he was from he hung up, strange, idetected the slightest Nigerian accent, I wonder why...

Had the same sms, asking me to call. Vin Morgan on 0837710717, this guy should be put behind bars. Do not phone just a waste of your time.

Got same sms today from 0798258131asking me to call Mrs Phelisa on 0846051220 - also with Ref no SQM86K - do they think we're idiots ?

I jst got tht sms nw saying I won 1.2 I mst call MRS Philisa on0846051220 I called she ask m my I'd number n bank details n I mst buy 180 airtym of mnt...thn I decided 2 google it thn I found this thanks guyz...

I got the same message last night saying i have won 1.2 million and that i shld contact mrs phelisa..the first guy who answerd the phone was a white guy called morgan..they tld me to call after 5 min. wen i called for the seond time a nigerian lady anwerd the phone and told me i should call after 2 min , after 2 min i calleed again and a xhosa woman answerd the phone and told me i shld buy R240 MTN airtime in order to get my money transferd to my bank account before 12 .oclock. please dont trust these people they are scam artists.its all just a set up to steel your money!

I also got the same sms to claim 1.2ml from Phelisa 0846051220 on 19/01/2012. I was asked to buy R275 vodacom voucher and I bought and sent it to her. Now I'm being told that to get the certificate to go and claim the money at the bank I must transfer R2560 to their account. I became sceptical . Then I decided to google this GMA Bonanza. Thanks to Google I've heard the comments from other people.
Phelisa  says most of the people give up at this stage and the company will take the money for themselves if you don't pay this amount and get your certificate of money to be trasferred to your account.

I got the same sms and i have send my bank acc num my id num and my cell num to mrs phelise she phond me and ask that i have to pay R3550 for bank fees then she will fax me the document's to sing but im not go and do it

Thanks for posting this on the internet! Just got the same sms. Can't they catch them and send them to jail or something? I don't like scams and people like that should get punished!!!

This is the "Nigerian 419" scam.  It is worldwide and uses lots of famous names like Apple, Coca Cola, Nokia, Blackberry etc.  There is a warning about it on the Apple website and you can Google "Nigerian 419 Scam".  They have scammed many thousands of people all over the world and taken not only money but personal details, including copies of passports, to use in identity fraud.

i also receive that message from mrs phelisa and there so called financial department please how can we stopped them they told me to pay r3350 for registation to get the money

I received a text message on 13/11/2012 from +27825858166 saying:
'Congratulations!!! Your phone number have won R1.2 million in (G.M.A) bonanza. Ref QM86K. contact this number 0218255166 for your winning prize. T/C apply.'
I called the number and the guy asked for my ref and cell phone number and says to call back in 5 minutes, he has to check his computer for my details. I called back and he says I won R1.2 million, how do I want the prize money, EFT or will I collect it from their offices. I told him I'll collect and he says their offices are on the Waterfront. The only thing he asked me is where I am from. He gave me the address on the Waterfront, it's 63 2nd floor and that's it, I can't make out the rest he says as his accent is terrible. Oh and his name is MR Gary. I should call him before I go to their offices.

I received an sms saying I must call Phelisa on this number . 084 605 1220.  I must claim.  I won R 1.2 million.

I got the very same SMS but they included my I.D. number. now I am very worried. What should I do?

I received an sms this morning from mobile number 076 616 0128 with my name and surname, my ID number .  Read all these messages before calling.  Wonder where a stranger found my cellphone number, ID number and my full name????  There are obviously other insiders working on this scam.  

its still on hey and shame Phelisa is trying her luck but they are very stupid to think that umntu could win without anything. I am very worried about this because since we had ricca in our country trouble is just falling in our faces... how come they have one's id number?

I got the same sms but this Mrs Phelisa even got my id no wtf we are not safe with this rica [***]. So P-off now........

just be carefull they can also get you with their stupid tricks. they said i won Toyota. i asked the guy wher is he from ? he dropped the phone
