I got 2 calls from this number today (so far) i ignore it as i don't know who it is, they have not got the decency to leave a message,
Does anyone know who it might be?

It's the benefits office, if you had a medical assessment and failed it they are ringing to discuss your claim.

I got a call yesterday at 9.10 am from 08000121713
It seemed to be from the Benefits Office to tell me i would receive a form to fill in for an update on my medical assessment !
Ive been getting DLA due  to having back problems

Is this call genuine ? And why do they not just send out letter to tell me this !

I got a call from this message and im not on any disabilty allowance or DLA and that, so i just refuse to answer it... if they really need you they should really leave a message

It IS the Jobs & Benefits Office (JBO)
But under the Data Protection Act they cannot leave a message
that MIGHT compromise a person's personal details...
So stop whinging.. they're trying to chase up GIVING YOU MONEY!!

This number also called me and left no message. Data protection my backside, use the answer machine, 2013 and we still get weird people calling and think it is funny leaving no message. I am NOT on any benefits so what's the deal

I rang it back and a recorded message told me it was the Social Security Agency had tried to call me and if it its important they will try back later

I keep getting daily calls from this number 08000121713 up to 8 times a day

I got a call today from this number it was the jobs and benefits office. They asked my 10 year old date of birth as they messed up and had 1 d.o.b on 1 from and a different d.o.b on another.

Then answer it's the social security angency just of the phone to them helped me get my money out into my bank!

Yes I am retired and they rang my mob of which they don't  have a record of.  Summing up the number when calling back says social security and will ring back later if need be. Hope that helps.

I got a call from this number this morning. First of all he asked have I claimed PPI  I told him not he asked again and I said no then he said no I mean PIP he went on to say that did I want to update my medical notes from DLA to PIP, my notes are all up to date. I started to get suspicious because if any these places ring you tbey always go through security questions which this person didn't and PIP would be professional and wouldn't make the mistake of saying PPI . I feel this is a spam and to warn other people to be careful if this number comes up on your phone.
