It is now getting on my nerves,keeps ringing but no bugger is there.

have ignored this number comin up on my mobile for a while but tonight i answered, a man, not of brittish origin, asked to speak to mr stewart (my husband) i said he was not available and why were they callin for him on MY mobile, he said he was from sky and did i have access to the passwords ont he account, i said yes, he than asked me for the passowrd, i said no, because i didnt know who he was then hung up, cheeky cheeky beggers, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL DETIALS!!!!!

Just received another call from this number so decided to answer this time. No one there surprise surprise so i left it hanging until someone spoke on the other end and gave them the silent treatment, they hung up pretty quickly!!

I have been chasing this up and spoken to OFCOM. Please if anyone has been receiving these calls please call OFCOM on 0300 123 3333 as they can not take action against SKY until they receive significant complaints.

So i take it this is SKY paying people from abroad to ring people up and not speak when they answer their phone. Now thats a job millions on the dole in this country could do. DONT YOU THINK SKY??????

I have also spoken to OFCOM and got a log  number 1-135947021

Unsure if otjher people can add to this log or if it is better to create a new one?

Next step (from my persepctive) is to lodge a complaint of harrassment to the Police.

since reporting this to Ofcom 223 hours ago I have had FOUR more calls from these B***TARDS

Last time I had a real pop at the guy at the other end - all he would keep saying is ... I need to verify who you ware, what is your name address and password.  No I cannot take you off the calling list until you give me your name address and password for SKY account.


Sounds like Blackmail?  Certainly harassment.

Silent for the first 10 seconds or so then seemed to connect to somebody - if you want to stop them - answer and wait about 15 seconds for the call to connect (you'll hear call centre noise all of a sudden) and ask them to stop calling you.

I have been receiving two calls a day on my mobile 12-35pm and 16-50 for the last week, same problem just background noise and then silence.

i got sky+ around november time and nearly everyday since i have been getting calls from this number.

Afew times i have answered, they said they are calling to offer me insurance for my sky+ box, i let them say what they had to say then i said no thanks i'm not interested at this moment of time but they just keep calling.

I am really getting annoyed with the calls now, the last call was today at 15.16.

I sent the following message to Sky (I have a reply email address because I sent a message wanting them to remove my credit card details from my account, which they did after a few days) Sky email is : help@skycustomersupport.com

For quite a while now I've been receiving landline telephone calls from this number: 08000483792 sometimes 3 times a day and even sometimes leaving a message which says "hello" a few times then "Mr Davidson" It seem they don't even have the sense to know it's an answering service.
Anyway, through online searching, many people are saying it's a marketing agency making calls for sky.

If this is so then why did sky give them my details? Is this not illegal? I'm registered with Telephone Preference Service and should not get calls like this. If it dosen't stop then I'll be in touch with Telephone Preference Service and Office of Fair Trading.

Thank you for your email about being cold called by this company.

I’m very sorry for the poor service you’ve received and apologise for any inconvenience you’ve suffered as a result of this.


Sky will never sell your details on or exchange them. We will how ever pass details on to engineers and that is it but only so they can find your property and install you that is it. This company is not part of sky or selling anything on our behalf Sky will never cold call you like this.


Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about them but if you feel what they are doing is illegal you may get in touch with you local citizen advice bureau and take it from there.

I have been received telephone calls from this annoying number on a regular basis for weeks and would like to know how to get them to stop.  When you answer the phone it is always silent so what is the point of the call.

Got a call from this number today on my mobile - I answer but no-one spoke. Have recently joined Sky (so may be something to do with them) I don't normally answer unknown number on my mobile, and will reject any future calls

i've had about 50 calls from this number, they are all silent when i answer, my service provider says they cannot bar the number without changing mine... dont want to do that is there a way of barring the number

keeps calling but there is noone there twice a day at the moment really a nuisance!
