rang every day for the past three weeks, just got another call just this minute, no answer, background noise, and its a Sunday!!! Do these people not have a day of rest? Annoying pests

I've had calls at all hours weekdays and weekends from this number.

Have been given a number to call to be taken off their list, lets see if this works.

This number is really annoying me. On average I am getting two calls per day even on Saturdays ! I have even had a call late into the evening sometime between 2000hrs and 2100hrs.I always hang up because there is a delay before someone speaks and then I 1471 it to find which number called and it is always this one number.

had several calls from this number, so annoying I've decided to ring them back repeatedly. It's a freephone number, so they'll be paying for it. If enough of us do it, maybe they'll get the message!

I just called Telefocus 01525 720000 and they said they will get my number removed and I shouldn't get any calls after 24 hours.

They have been calling us at up to 9pm for over a week now and my wife has not had an account with them for years.

Took the previous posters advice and called 01525 720000 to have my number removed from the auto dialler.  The lady was very pleasant as said she would get the number removed straight away, she then apologised again.

I've had calls every day for nearly two weeks. Was a book club member too.

I have emailed info@telefocus.co.uk and sent a message via http://www.telefocus.co.uk/contact-us-location.htm to ask them to stop.

I am getting two or three of these calls every day but just cancel it (I won't accept inwards calls from 0800 numbers)but it drives me nuts to have this number keep calling. When they left a message all I got was a noisy background with no one speaking.

If they are the bookclub then why are they not speaking when people answer (just looking at many of the entries here) -  that sounds a little counter intuitive to me.

We have had several dropped calls from this number, amongst others, mostly, when the call is not silent and they do identify themselves, from telecoms companies. This is despite the fact that we are registered with TPS.

I don't know which is the more annoying, when they don't speak or when they do.

We are a busy business and want our lines kept free for genuine customers not some chancer who is trying to sell a service we don't require. We have tried screening out calls without caller id but this means that customers who withhold their id, for privacy reasons, are screened out as well.

We would never call our customers without their permission and certainly never cold call so why do these people think that they have the right?

When I do not recognise the number I let the answer machine pick it up and if its important I will ring back.  Have had several call attempts from this number for over a week now and they never leave a message.

they keep ringing my mobile about 3 times a day i don't answer i just reject the call,
you would think they would know by now that i am not going to answer

this number has called about 5-6 times a day over the last two to three months now, most are silent calls with no mssage left on answer phone, when you answer they sometime hang up, they are realy starting to pee me off now

phoning 3 or 4 times a day, either a dead line or silent call when i answer, its getting really annoying now!

It all links back to companies you sign up to i.e BOOKS DIRECT. I did, but made it clear i didn't want to receive offers from other companies. As well as sending me books i dont want they've passed my phone number to about 6 companies like this one, and also my e mail address gets hammererd with fake "bank" details requests. Since signing up to this book club four seperate high street banks i've never had contact with have apparently got bank accounts in my name that i need to give my existing details to access. Absolute scam. I just shout swear words down the phone at them like i've got tourettes. Works a treat. C*nt M*th*rf*uck*r

These people call me every couple of days! Seriously thinking of moving house!

They've been calling me about 3, sometimes even more than 5, times a day! Really beginning to bug me!

Have free caller display with BT privacy. Soon as i see an 08 number let the voice mail get it.

think it great they pay for the call and get nothing.

this number sometimes calls me up to 5 maybe 6 times a day. usually when i answer there is no one on the other end, it is getting very frustrating, and at times feel harrassed
