Received a call from this number a few days ago who claimed that they were from a credit company.
Today missed a call. Dialled 1471 and it stated I had a missed call from 08-0037 -1104, When I dialled this number I was told it didn't exist. Anyone know who this is?

Sounded like "business file phillip speaking, how may I help" when called. I hung up at this point. That all I could be bothered to find out.

When the number called me, it began ringing another number when I answered! Hung up immediately.

Don't know who it is. But would like to know why it is always the one company after the other who keeps calling. If I wanted to buy something, I would call them. I did not answer for I was busy working. Too many sales calls.

This number called me today and it rang them when I answered, They said they was from Yellow Pages and wanted to check the info for my free listing, They would not take my business email address only a personal one, Its a business directory that won't take a business email address? I think not.

seemed like an ad company wanting my details for a free listing. yet somebody else after my hard earned cash.
It was a salesman from a free line entry team for yellow pages? they asked me to call 0800533433

This is NOT Yell.com, it is LMB Direct Marketing posing as Yell, selling space for an alternative directory system. I hate these people - they also pose as o2 Manachester, using the same scam to get under your radar

This is Yell.com marketing, they have tried to contact me to update my business listing in the yellow pages, there is nothing sinister about this number, and you should only recieve a call from them if you have a business listed in the yellow pages.

Timewasting call from Yell whoever they are looking to update details

Yellow pages called to update their business listing details.  Wanted to pass me through to advertising exec as they had some great advertising details.  They would not accept a business email adress, only personal...

They called me today as yellow pages. Wanted my businesses details for a free listing. They took a business email from me but wanted to put me through to another agency and I said no. When I picked up it did dial another number, does anyone know if this is going to cost me money?

Unanswered calls to my mobile just after 9 -  I didn't even hear it ring, used this website to check out the number as suspected it was "dodgy"

called 3 times within 1 minute phone was next to my keyboard at the time so wasnt even rining for 5 seconds before i tried to answer, but everytime i was too late .... seems very dodgy to me!

I just missed a call from this number with the person claiming to be from Yell.com wanting business information from a proposed listing... was on other calls at the time, I asked for a number to call "her" back on and was supplied
"0800533433"

This is a company that is scamming and pretending to be Yell. This is not Yell! How do I know? Because I have a paid listing with Yell and not a free listing, yet they call to say they want to update my free yell listing and when I challenged them about this they hung up. Proceed with caution!

This number calls me at least once a day. I have a rule that I don't answer any 0800 number when I see it on my caller id.

In the last 2 days I’ve had a number of nuisance calls from these numbers where they ring a couple of times then hang up. I did a bit of research and found a few of the numbers have been ringing other people and doing the same thing. Apparently if you ring them back you get transferred onto a premium rate number where the company makes a profit from your call and they ask you if you want your number to be removed from their list.

 If anyone else gets nuisance calls from these numbers contact Ofcom who deal with this sort of thing. If they get enough complaints about 1 company then they will take legal action. http://www.ofcom.org.uk/media/mofaq/telecoms/silentfaqs/

Got call from these guys - v. suspicious.
I'm never rude, but I do my best to cost them as much money as possible. Whenever one of these scammers calls I just politely ask them to hold while I get the right person, then I put them on hold forever - at least, until they give up or assume they've been disconnected and try again. :)
Much fun can be had if you don't get too stressed about them calling.

Had the same call today - when I answered I heard a phone ring and a bloke answered. I immediately hung up.  Annoyed I even answered - I should have known it was a scam and therefore 0800 calls cost me money!  Informed Vodafone who claimed they know nothing - why don't they look at these forums?

I am really bothered by people who do these horrible things.
