I just had a call from this number.  Couldnt answer it in time though as i was on another phone.  Anyone know who it is?

Found out that this is Bell car insurance

Really want to know who this number is that keeps calling me!

I just had a call from this number and it went like this:

Me: Hello?
Caller: Hi is this Mr ****?
Me: Yes it is

Then they hung up. Very strange.

I just had a call from this number and it was Admiral insurance claims.

Just had a call to my mobile from 0800 524 264, asking for Stephanie.  I told them that they must have had a wrong number and they hung up.

Couple of people on this site saying it is Admiral (or Bell) insurance, which would figure as I got a car insurance quote from confused.com yesterday, and gave my mobile as my daytime phone number.

None too pleased that confused.com are handing out telephone numbers!

I've had several calls from this number! Wish they would get the hint!

You filled in a form that was then used to request insurance quotes from all of the insures on confused books.

Confused is just a mechanisim that prevents you having to goto all the insurers yourself

This number said they were Elephant?

I doubt it is either Admiral/Bell or elephant. All from the same number? More likely some making sure the details they have for the mobile are correct or that the number is valid before they punt it to some cold calling company. Better to not answer, 0800 are only dial into numbers, an outgoing call from a company with an 0800 number would show the actual BT number for that line.

I just had a call from this number. I didnt picked it up of course, just went to google and found this site.

I think its elephant car insurance because my insurance expired yesterday and my credit car details need updating. I have already updated it with them last week, so maybe they just want to confirm something.

I just bought insurance with elephant last week so I'm guessing it's them... but why on earth would they call me?! Surely they already hooked me so what would be the point?
I hate it when people don't leave voicemail.

Its admiral who answered my call, but that means that it could be any company in the Admiral group, which includes Bell, elephant.co.uk, diamond and they also own confused.com. They all share a building in Cardiff and Swansea.

I had taken out a policy with admiral and they phoned to thank me for taking it out and also to try to sell me "add-ons". Quite an aggresive sell also.

Yeah , It's elephant ... I gave them a right mouthful cos recently I've been getting a load of dodgy calls ... , But I've just taken out a policy with them ... OOOOOPPPPPS , never mind , I'm sure they were going to try and sell me more crap anyway . Hahaha
