O2 I believe. Can anyone elaborate?

just got a call from them during a lesson... didn't pick up wondered who they were... yet another scam i bet.

I've had about 20 calls from this number.  They are from "O2".  I kept getting loads of missed calls - because I wouldnt answer it - they kept trying but never left a message.

The last time they called I was so fed up I answered it - I am not with O2 - they said I was on a "cross-network" call today. Absolute rubbish.  Because they then asked me lots of questions about my mobile phone contract - and because I didnt want to give out this personal information - they just hung up on me.  How rude!  I am almost 100% convinved its scammers.

my advice keep them on the line as long as possible costs them money
tried to trace number but cut me off b4 could get them

I keep getting calls from them as well.  I was originally with T Mobile but switched to Vodafone years ago.  I have told them I'm not interested but they will not stop calling.  I do not answer them anymore.

Does anyone else seem to have the same problem as me? Each year my phone signal gets worse and some txt msgs i send or recieve wont go through. All this magically happens a wk or so before 02 or some company tries to phone with me offers.

I have never been with O2 and does any one know who this is?

I have already given my details for SIM only contract;O2, 15pounds monthly.Then somebody then took over bombarding me with contracts details, that were incomprehensible.I then hanged up.Next day I got a followed up call I think,alas it ended up a missed call.

I've had a few calls from the 0800641087 number asking who provided my business mobile, or stating that i was an O2 customer.Not impressed at all. How exactly is O2 tied up in this--- I thought they were a reputable company - if so, surely they should be making every effort to stop this caller (whether it's a scammer, or part of their sales force). Personally, i loathe and detest all cold calling, particularly over the phone, and would like to see it banned forthwith.

They have called me many times. I just have a nice little talk about tea prices in Germany (Ich bin eine Deutscher) and they leave me alone... I hope it costs them much money to call me 6 times a day and recieve information on Green Tea =D

keep getting calls from this number saying they are from 02 ?? but dont think they are cause i  called 02 and they didn't know anything about these bolt on packages they are trying to sell me, the price of the bolt on's they were offering me kept changing in price too from £15 up to £25 and  they  wanted  my bank details over the phone when i said no they became very pushy and hung up then had the cheek to call back later so i just didn't answer, don't know who they are or where from  but wouldn't trust them

I keep getting calls from this number- I am with Orange so there is no way that O2 would have my number? Really bizarre, I guess I would say just don't answer and register your number on the TPS.

I'm glad so many others have been pestered! Is there no way of reporting these guys?

I have recently started getting calls from this number. The TPS is all very well, but to the unscrupulous it seems not to matter and they call you anyway. What can we do to stop this harassment?

I just called O2 and apparently the number is a sales department of O2. Unbelieveable! The adviser told me to join the TPS. Seems very strange thing to do to me!

They call me about once a week! Never been with O2. Am with Three. It could be an automatic dialer, has anyone ever picked up and heard the phone 'ring' at the other end? These are illegal if they had as far as I know.

Have been with Orange for ~8 yrs. Over the past 2 months have been called by this number on an almost daily basis, usually at about 3.15 in the afternoon.. Have never and will never answer, but still an annoyance.
