They say they are a loan company but they have taken £49.99 out of my bank account and i cant get a hold of them - i just get put on hold for over 30 minutes - No one ever answers!.. HELP?

Same happened to me, 49.99 taken out of my account, tried calling them on Sunday but was closed. The voice message said www.easysteploans.co.uk but the site doesnt exist. Must be a scam!! Im gonna change my bank details ASAP.

I just received a call from this company also. They said they were a loan company and began to ask me details. I was then put on hold and transferred to someone else who said to run a security check he would need my card number start and expiry date and then he asked for the security code which i refused to give as thought this was a bit dodgy. The website does not exist so please be careful.

beware do not answer calls to these people! i never spoke to them or applied for a loan, i have received the same text messages and didnt reply to them...and surprise surprise 2 days later they have taken 99.99 out of my account...;.not once but twice. after thorough research they are based in stockport, i have contacted my bank who are doing them for fraud as i never authorised a transaction! they have alos involved the police... my research has found that they scam people , disolve the company and reopen under a new name, their phone number also proves this...they have been known as TLG loans, best4loans, carter carter financial as well and probably more!

I cannot believe it these people have scammed me as well - said they had approved a loan and took £299 out of my bank then I just carn't get hold of them - I am asking my bank for help.

PLEASE DONT ITS A SCAM. I did phone and was on hold for about 10mins or more and got no where. i have never heard of this company and i phone my bank to say to them in case any one did try to take money out of my account with out my permission. They have made a note and said to me to keep a eye on my account as well for a while.

applyed for loan ,only had 200 in my account they took 199.00 left me skint for a week total scam

This is a company of sharks operating through payday oan sites, which ask for your card details in a similar way mobile phone companies do to verify your details , a very plausable thing in htis day an age ,as I wouldnt agree to pay there 49.99 fee until i had thought it over they then just took this out of my bank the next day. i have had to cancel my cards and put a hold on my account so that they cannot gain any more money. be aware and stay away and do not give out any details!!!!!!!!!!!they did list themselves as cartwright finance when they were on the phone, or a similar name.

this number is definately a scam!!! do not take any dealings with them. they say they are easy-step loans ... but where is their website if they are legit???
anyway - i was gulable and gave them all my details after they rang me coz i was thinking about a loan at the time. when they told me there was a 99.99 admin fee, i agreed to pay it, as they told me my loan for 10,000 has been processed and accepted. So in exchange for a credit agreement that would be sent to my home, for 99.99, i would have 10,000 gbp in my account within 48hrs. Needless to say, i am still waiting on the paper work. Anyhow, since that call, i have had many many more calls from various companies who also, dont have websites. I reported this to o2 as nusience calls and just now an advisor got back to me and advised me that if i didnt want a number change, then i should register on

This company called me giving no name.  They said I had made a recent loan application which I did yesterday and they were following it up.  I was looking for a £5000 loan.  They asked for my bank details to do a security check on me.  I stupidly gave them to them.  They then put me on hold.  They came back on and said that I could obtain credit paying £100 a month.  When I got off the phone I had a sneaky suspician that somethingh wasnt right.  I then received a text message "URGENT, WE ARE NOW PROCESSING YOUR LOAN ENQUIRY, PLEASE RING EASY STEP LOANS ON 0800 652 8529" I checked the number, where I found this page and several others saying it was a scam.  I phoned my bank, they have taken £49.99 out my bank unauthorised, I need to phone the bank when this money comes off the statement, hopefully I will be able to get it back.  They will then start a fraud investigation.  I have 3 kids and theres theiving ba**ards have taken most my money out my account!  To top it off, I then had a phone call from a company claiming to be Best4loans.  After reading the comments above found out it was the same company!  Had a sneaky suspicion it was the same company and told the woman that my banks investigating the last company that had just taken money out of my bank.  I was raging.  She couldnt get off the phone quick enough.  DO NOT TOUCH! BEWARE!!!! THEY WILL TAKE MONEY OUT OF YOUR BANK, AS SOON AS THEY HAVE YOUR BANK DETAILS!!!

i work for a mentiond brokers and if sum1 asks u 4 ur bank details over the phone and u give them then whos fault is that?

I dont see it as u gettin ripped off, i see it as me making a living and being able to put food on my childs plate!!

I recived a call from BEST4LOANS.COM because i made a online loan application we went through all my details and i payed the £49.80 admin fee.
5 days later i had £15,000 in my account, i dont know what your all on about i had no probs what so ever.

so taking money off people is ok???? even when they get nothing in return? i think people who work for this company are very sick,u say its feeding yr children but yr taking food out of other childrens mouth its very wrong! sick & wrong!

i payed best4loans the admin fee today, i have just looked the company up and found this, i hope its not a scam as this will leave me and my 2 children homeless.

I had a phone call from somebody saying the exact same thing, on friday they took 99.99 out of my account. i never authorised this, thank god i have 2 bank accounts with seperate money. i hope these people get what they deserve, praying on people who are struggling with debts , total jokers they want locking up for a long long time. and you who said its puttingfood in your childrens mouths, you fcuking joker, i hope your kids go hungry and you can watch them suffer, like millions of kids you have stole from.
