hi, I been reciving a few calls during the last few days asking me for my name and personal details which I find this very strange.

recived another call today Friday 30th October from Premier Man again Woman sked for me by Name said i owed Money and that she would keep ringing untill its paid and asked me for my address ,i told her you must have my deatails she said that if i dont pay up someone will call to my home.

This no rings 6/7 times a night. Other posts suggest it's an arrears company but I don't owe anyone and there is never anyone on the line to speak to to ask them to stop.

this number calls from 8am constantly all day totally fed up with it dont no who they are

I suspect it's Reliable Collections (who are the DCU for JD Williams companies - so Simply Be, Marisota, Naturally Close etc.). They're currently chasing me for a disputed debt (i.e. half the stuff on my statement was never ordered by me). It's either this 0800 number, or they withhold their number. Note that they don't use the 0871 number on their statements to call out on.

They are known for their telephone harrassment techniques, and their less than pleasant call centre staff.  They'll also call outside the hours of when they're officially allowed to. They don't seem to be all that fussed as to whether they're breaking rules or not.

As for them threatening a doorstep visit - simply revoke their right to visit. (templates for this and to ask them to cease telephone harrassment and deal with you only in writing are available at the Consumer Action Group forums for free).

Don't let them bully and worry you. You can only pay what you can afford.

I have been getting 4 or 5 calls a day from this number.  They don't leave a message and I have just tried to call them, withholding my number, and got this number is not recognised.  Any ideas who they are?

When I get home from work I have about 7 or 8 missed calls from this number each day.  They dont leave a message and Ive tried calling them back to see who they are and the number is not recognised.  Does anyone know who they are?

Harassing calls even when they know the person is bankrupt

This number has called several times a day,for the past week, when answered there is never anybody speaking then after a few seconds it goes dead.

This number keeps ringing me I dont want to buy anything I wouldnt buy anything over the phone so please stop

This phone number has been phoning my house everyday at all hours for the past few months. I answer the phone and no one says anything. It is REALLY starting to irritate me as I have a young baby in the house who gets woken up at stupid times for nothing!

its started again! got numerous call from this number several months ago thought they had stopped when I threatened legal action but they have started again. I am 74 years old do not owe anybody a penny, do not buy anything mail order or anything on credit. This is getting too much as the phone rings and I am worried to answer it, can anybody help?

I have recently got a contract with Virgin and was given a new no, which obviously belonged to someone that had incurred debt.  this same company called me today and when I informed them they had the wrong no. he said he would take it off their system burt he needed my name to do it.  I told him my name was irrelevant and he said without a name he couldn't remove it, so \i told him my name was joe bloggs! With that he said thanks and hung up! Never give your details to ANYONE on the phone or the door!!!!

Get three or four calls a day, even though I have BT preference/screening service. Was still in bed this morning when first two calls came. Very very annoying.

i am sick of phone calls from this number  will be reporting u for  harrassmen!!!!!!!

Also getting really p.....d of with up to 4 calls a day asking for a certain person who does not live here,im in a new house new number ...whats going on only to then be asked who was i(i have told you who you keep leaving messgaes for) as you keep leaving his name on my voicemail,then wants my address.......AND STARTS GETTING NASTY.WHY..If anyone has any ideas on how to stop this please please HELP..

Several calls over a period of days. Sometimes a recorded message saying "if you are Mrs ....(couldnt understand name they were saying) please press 1 and if you are not please press 2.  I hungup phone.

Today some guy called Rob spoke asking for a Fiona and continued asking for details of us and our 1st ine of address.  When we questioned where he was calling from and his number -  he said he would go and check and come back to us. Again we hung up but checked caller number a while later and they were still connected to our phone.  He said he was from Fashion World.
