I was told i was shortlisted for winning an audi becus i entered some online comp.  it really got my hopes up cus i need a new car/money.  i m just annotyed now, the number of times they call ppl just to scam them grrr!! and then the phone call 'disconnected' before i cud verify it all.  how could ppl have such a job?!?!?

I have been getting about 2 calls per day for the past 2 weeks from number 08009121698. I have never answered any of them because no one i know will ring on an 0800 number. However they are very annoying

Have just received another 2 calls while at work.Has anyone had success by ringing back and pressing 1 as mentioned earlier? Have just logged complaint with OFCOM.

this number calls everyday at 1020am it is a tele marketing company, wish they would just leave me alone.

Ok baically I've been receiving calls from these people on a daily basis, the company is Telegen, to stop these calls, all you have to do is ring the number from the phone they keep ringing you on, you will get an automated message asking you if you want your number to be removed from their list,if you do this all the calls will stop. I hope that helps.

I have had around 30 calls EACH day for 3 weeks from this company.

They even ring me at like 9-00pm or later!

How mental!

They need to stop. I havent entered any competitions and they even email my work email to tell me to enter the audi competition!

I get a minimum of 4 calls per day from this number.  I put it on my phone's reject list so my phone automatically rejects it if it calls but it's still annoying.  

I called the number back when I first had a missed call from them and there's a recorded message saying that it's TELEGEN.

i have just received a call form this number but when i answered there was no one there.

I have just started getting these calls everyday over the last two weeks.  I have never answered it but wish they would stop.

Okay ive been getting the calls! So ring em back, its Telegen marketng services, it will give u some options but press 1 to delete your number from their records! Sweet!  Spread the word!

Received call from this number this morning.  Having entered a comp to win an Audi A3, looks like its a spin off from this.  Told me that I had 1,200 lines for entry into EuroMillions Lottery. Went through all of the figures of what I could win and then he told me it would cost me £44/month for the privilege. He said he would sign me up today and then send pack out. There is time to cancel but I am not taking any chances. It really can't be as they explain it and would imagine it costing more than you would win.  Told him no thanks and put phone down.

i suggest you actually check what the telephone preference service provides: blacklisting from cold-callers.  If you have signed up with a company, then you have given your details and you have given them permission to share your details and use them for marketing.  You have effectivley requested these calls.  
They use cars and money to lure the greedy and lazy.  You gave your details, so who should you be blaming?

i got a call from this number two days ago, i heard betting in the background as if the person calling was in a betting shop,they didnt say anything, got a call from them last night as well at 8pm.

i got this a call from the same number.   called it back and it was telegen trying to sell you anything.

If you call the number and listen to it for a bit they give you the option to remove your number from their database. I just did it, now lets see how long it takes to work. So far I have had more than 20 calls from this number.

Just rang me for (I think) the second time now. I hung up when I saw the number, googled it, and here I am. Not had to speak to anyone yet, or give them the opportunity to hang up on me. Next time I might answer and inquire if they do discounts on bulk purchases of over a thousand, claim to want to spend a million, and see how far I can get...

We tried to stop more calls by pressing 1.  It did not work. Any ideas please on how to stop these pests?

Just received another call from this number and once again the caller did not speak when I answered.  Any ideas?

I GET CALLS 5 TO SIX TIMES A DAY AND IN THE EVERNING IM NOT HAPPY WITH IT THEY DONT EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE IF ITS ARGENT
