We had a lot of calls from Telegen. When I called back I got a recorded voice telling me to press 1 if I did not want any more calls. I pressed 1 and guess what - they keep calling. We never asked them to call in the first place.

There are so many complaints about Telegen and its nuisance calls.  How can we stop them? And yes, we are registered with the TPS and we are ex-directory.

I got a call on the 5th of May - the only one so far. I knew it was a con straight off but let him go through his whole scpeil just to waste his time. My colleague was laughing at me as I kept the guy on the line. Hmm, I wonder where we can find out if anyone won the Audi? :D

Had several calls from this number in January/February then they gave up. I looked it up on google and found this site so I knew it was Telegen. When they rang again yesterday I said "look I know you're from Telegen. Why don't you give up pestering me?"  Then he gave me his patter about the Audi and I challenged him to name any one person who had ever won it. He rang off.
Idiots.  Time wasters. Nuisances.

I've got a solution for these no timers. it all started yesterday when I received my very first call just before 17:00PM tea-time (f***ing w**ker really calls at a good time!) told me where he was calling from and read out my e-maill address and ask me to confirm if this e-mail address was correct? He then ask me for my date of birth and then I made one up. then told me he had successfully entered me in a competition to WIN a car (which is a whole load of f***ing CON) He tried to make me lopk stupid, but I ended up making him look stupid! these people think we're all stupid, I mean nearly 100% of people in uk understand the business of Telesale Or Telemarketing.

I have had this caller ranging from 7am to 8:30pm on average 3-5 times a day - I thought it had finally stopped when I got none for a week or so but - well its back, now I don't answer and just hang up if I happen to have phone to hand....

spoke to orange, there was nothing they can do as it cant be considered malicious or threatening so in short was pretty much told "TUFF"


I want them to stop - but I doubt very much calling back will cost the party concerned - but simply hit me in the pocket... at the minute no communication is made, either way and I delete a miss call off my phone at not cost to me....

its just pointless!!!!

OMG I have had these calls for the last 2/3 months now and they were driving me insaine so i decided to answer to tell who ever it was to stop calling.

The guy who answered however was very persuasive and i fell for this sam, can they take money off me?

He said i can cancel before the first of june by ringing the number on the pack.  What if i dont get a pack????

I get a call from this number several times a day from 09:00 to 21:00.

I will not answer this number and so do not know if they answer or who it is. I just want it to stop!

Got a lot of calls from them so I rang back.  Some recorded voice told me I could stop it by pressing 1.  I did press 1 but it made no difference. Then I googled it and found this site. How can I stop this Telegen from pestering me?

these people are driving me insane!!!!!!!!! 3-4 calls every single flippin day for the past two weeks!!!!!! i just keep sending them on my voicemail as i picked up once and no one answered!

Still getting these.  Minly during my working hours and so I don't answer.  I have never received an answer machine message though, despitehaving that facility on my mobile.  I have also received then after 5pm and as with all the other comments I see on here - they always cut off once I answer.

repeated calls daily and no answer every time i pick up. extremely annyoing :(

If you call that 0800 number it tell you it is a marketing companys and asks if you want to have you number removed from their telemarketing list.  Hope this helps.

This number has called me twice today, 3 times yesterday and on Tuesday aswell, when I answer theres no reply and they dont leave voicemails.  Its really annoying so I have reported it to the following site;

These guys only check it out if there has been a numerous amount of complaints about the same number so can u complain and together we can put an end to these nuisence calls!

I'm getting them too.  I answered once - said they were from 'euromillions' and I'd entered a competetion online 2 or 3 months ago.  Don't think I did....  They call several times a day now...
