I have received today a call from this number, and the girl knew my first and second name, I don't know where they have got this information from, but when I answered: "Speaking ...", the line cut off. When I called back, just a answering machine came up repeating the telephone number what I was calling from and asking me: "Press one if correct, or press two ...". I hope not to be a gangster group trying to confirm some information to break into your bank account. It is a very suspicious call.

Any suggestion?

I work in a primary school and my phone rang none stop today from this number and it was really buging me, im so glad that my fone was on vibrate instead of on loud like it normally is.
I think i am going to report it to my phone network company as then at least we have sum hope in hell of stopping this harrassment. I mean i obviously didnt answer but if these people are asking for peoples bank numbers theres a problem there. i will also forward this link to my phone company so that they can have an investigate.

I've been getting phone calls from this company too. I rang them on the landline and it's a company called Telogen but if you press 2 then you can get your mobile off the marketing list.

Just had a call - the guy spent approx 15 minutes blabbering on about the euromillions and why I should buy £36 worth of tickets for the next 3 months (yeah right). Then he went on to say that he wanted my bank details. I said no chance until I know what company I am dealing with. I said can you send some info through the post. NO....not until he has my bank details!!!!! Must think I was born yesterday. Anyways just typed the telephone number into google and what do I find loads of forums and messages saying its a scam - no surprise. I'lll give them an earfull if they call back

I too, am getting these ridiculous phone calls, today i received another so i decided to answer it, they asked if they could speak to me, i told them that they were, and they hung up on me. Vice versa to what happened last time. I am becoming ever more aggravated by these. I have also received, a phone call from 08000927201. Does anyone understand why we are receiving these phone calls, and what can we do to make them stop?

this popped up on the autotrader site ...they rang yep telling me id won an audi tt or a cash prize !!!! i had to submit my bank account details ....i asked them to submit in writing this too me so my solicitor could survey it.....lol cant see that arriving !!!

The calls are from Telegen yet again.  Telegen is a nuisance caller, based down on the South coast, whose activities have been reported many times in these pages.  All of these numbers belong to Telegen and have appeared here, some of them many times.

OFCOM will do something about it, but only if it is drawn to their attention repeatedly, so it is up to all of us to do that.  It is easy to do.  Just make a note of some dates and times you received nuisance calls, then go to

I have done a rough count and it amounts to over 200 reports on this website alone. I am about to fill in OFCOM’s online complaint so, if you have been called by them, please join me. If nothing happens, I may write to the BBC’s “Watchdog”. If we join forces, the anti-social behaviour CAN be stopped.

He said I had entered online, probably a while ago, and that I had gone through to the next stage. The strange thing about it was that he confirmed my e-mail address, home address, & then started to ask me of my bank account numbers. At this point I said call me back later, as I don't give details over the phone (or online for that matter). I was a little bit curious of the situation needless to say, so I put the number into google & found this site. Thankfully I did, as I now know this number to be Fraudulent. I have tried to ring back, but all I get is an machine saying 'If you wish your number to be withdrawn from our marketing lists, please press one' etc.

Sorry to block up this site with so many of my posts(I made a mistake in my first post), but I would just like to thank 'Huw Slater' for the 'OfCom' site. It's really helpful, and I'll join Huw Slater in reporting this nussance caller 'TeleGen'. The way they try to get your bank details off the beat like that is just wrong. We must all stop this thing from happening. Thanks again Huw Slater. :)

There should be an automatic ejector seat button on our phones so whoever is ringing us from this number will be cast out to space

My husband has received several calls from number today whilst at work. I Rang this number from my home phone to find out who it was. It's a telemarketing company ringing people with offers on behalf of it's clenits

i have recieved calls from this number every two days not as bad as some of you but when i first answered i got a computer response that would not let me talk to a real human. Im not sure on the company but i was waiting for an opition to speak to someone and it only gave a an option to ring back the number and press two if i wanted my number taken off the list. i did not ring back as i feared it would be one of these £1.50 a minute phone line. I have not answered anymore calls from them but now know they will ring me at 12.50- 1pm every other day. Its highly annoying

same here had a number of calls throughout the week really annoying might just tell them to take me off the list or just turn my phone off on them.i also dont normally pick up my phone unless i know who it is.i think its something to do with that audi tt competition but seems like its abit dodgy.

I received a call saying I was entered into this competition. I went along with the euro millions 'scam' as I am of the opinion that if they've lied to me and I don't get the guaranteed "win" which was said on the phone then I can take them to court. My first payment of £9 won't be taken until 1st March anyway so I have ample time to look into this company, get their details and have a court date booked up for them lol. Plus I was being harassed by this number constantly which resulted in my concentration in lectures at uni being ruined. I'll let you know the outcome!!!

I have had 2 calls from this number today, nothing is said but i can hear something that sounds like a baby in the background, then they hang up on me.

I'd be interested in who this is as i am with a telephone preference company :D

If it's any help go to the OFCOM website and follow a link (under Telecoms/marketing calls or something like that) Anyway it links you to a website which will take your mobile off pretty much all sales/marketing lists in the UK. Takes a couple of weeks to kick in, but seems to work
