People today doing in many ways just to make money in different ways... i hope they will make a good job!!!This is annoying!!!

i have aswered and tolled them iam not inturested put they still call twice a day for the last two weeks it driveing me up the wall

I have been receiving multiple calls on my Vodaphone mobile number for about 3 weeks.

The caller says my name & then hangs up.

I have now realised that these nuisance callers are from Telegen in Brighton and that they got my number from an on-line competion that I stupidly entered via the Digital Spy website.

I complained to Ofcom and also rang Telegen to ask them to remove my number from their calling lists. The woman at Telegen told me that the calls were on behalf of Axa Insurance (but why call me and hang up?????).

It remains to be seen if the calls now stop.

By coincidence I do have an Axa Insurance Policy. I certainly won't renew it or ever deal with the Company again. Any organisation that employs nuisance callers is not worth dealing with.

Have recieved a call from this number for 3 days running now, luckily I have missed mosty of them, I have called them back once, but to no avail. I'm hoping that the calls aren't costing me anything to recieve

This caller rings most days as I have a caller display I do not answer but I do find it very annoying.

Why not re-read page 2 of this bulletin, where someone spent time researching it?  All you need to know about this nuisance is there. Better still, why not complain repeatedly to OFCOM? It's easy to do it on-line and if OFCOM are pestered enough they will act. Here is the link again:

Called several times over last week. A lot of background noise when I answer but no one there.

IF I FIND OUT  WHO IT BELONGS TO I WILL NOT BE ACCOUNTED FOR WHAT I DO TO THEM 45 CALLS IN ONE DAY AS I WORK NIGHTS DRIVING AN ARTIC LORRY I NEED MY BLOODY SLEEP

STOP THE CALLS!!!  To stop the annoying calls from TELEGEN, call the number back and when you hear the recorded message giving you the option to remove your number from the list, do so by pressing 1.

It sounds to me like Telegen have aquired all our numbers via this Audi TT competition that a lot of us have entered. I work in Marketing and it is not difficult to do this, it costs, but you can get massive databases.

The only time I answered, it was the first time, it sounded like a load of nonsense, so I said no thanks and that was that.  I get the calls at least twice a day, but I do the hanging up.

Some of you have mentioned that these people call and say they are calling on behalf of another party (Axa Insurance, for example).  Axa Insurance will have asked Telegen to do sales calls (from script) to all the people on that database.

It occurs to me that if telegen are phoning up then hanging up on a lot of you, that still counts on there records as a MADE phone call, wether you hang up or they do.  They will present these records to there clients and say we called 10,000 people today, 80% hung up, 20% stopped to listen.
These figures will be innacurate to the truth, but their clients don't know that, and will probably say 'Wow, Good work Telegen, what would we do without you'.....

Telegen are not only being annoying to all of us, but i also believe they are also ripping off there own clients. Pity the Fools!!!!

The only way to stop this is to just report it to ofcom, or get in touch with your network provider and get them to block the number.  Other people have mentioned calling telegen, but do you know how much they charge for you to call????

There is no Audi TT.  The draw is not until the end of the year. By which time the company responsible will have drawn enough money from people opting in to the syndicate to buy one.

I am a real sceptic about stuff like this,  everything above is what I believe to be true. You can all make your own minds up!

Annoying nuisance calls every day for the past 4 months, very annoying!

Have received several calls from 08009121698 between the hours of 0900 and 1800 over the last three days. Have not answered any of them, and the caller does not leave an answerphone message.

haha.. i was called and told me that ii had entered online lottery.. and they did told me their lottry namme dunno may be they said "euro--somehting".. i dint remember a sh*t abt that.. and i asked him what the name of lotery was. the man was bored and told me his assistant will call me later, but sh*t they dint

i have received a call from this number today at 16.31pm. who the hell are they?

Call on my mobile.  Glad I found this site, now I know not to answer.  I never answer 0800 calls.
