Missed call on my mobile.  Glad I found this site, now I know not to answer.  I never answer 0800 calls.

i keep getting missed calls off 08009121698 and stupid times!
nobody ever talks on the end of it! i just want these people to go away!!!

calls several times on a day sometimes at night

I have 08009121698 phone me about 5 times aday, they only one ringer me and when i phone back no-one speaks. Does anyone know who these annoying people are????

Possibly the last writer has not read page 2 of this forum.  The caller is Telegen, a call centre.  Why not join those of us who have been pestered by Telegen and complain. Here is the complaints link:

I googled Telegen UK, the company who the calls seem to originate from. While they could not tell me which company had authorised the calls, they were very polite and offered to take my number  off their database. I don't know if it will work, but its worth a shot for any of you who want the nuisance calls to stop.

I've had a number of these calls and as a result of the comments on this website  
emailed Telegen to get the calls to stop. I am promised that my number will be "supressed"! The email response was from:   krichardson1@telegenuk.com

Hopefully this will do the trick - it is very irritating.

This company is called Eurochance100. It is a lottery syndicate asking you to spend £40 a month for 3 months and will increase your chance of winning the lottery by 33%. They always start by saying you are in the winning finals for an Audi in a competition you apparently entered (I think this is a con to get u interested).

I did not sign up for it but I doubt anyone wins the car or the lottery through them Worth checking with the National Lottery whether this syndicate exists.

Koolhed - you need to look again at the previous contributors and what they have to say. The caller may be ringing "on behalf of" Eurochance but the culprits who actually do the calling are TELEGEN. Whether they ring on behalf of AXA, AIG, RAC, Eurochance, Euromillions, JD Williams or whoever, it's still the same offender. Please join those of us who have reported it to OFCOM. If Ofcom get enough complaints, they can put a stop to Telegen and its appalling behaviour. It isn't a scam at all, it is just misleading With the Audi/money you are competing against LOADS of people, so you won't win. And they don't clean out your account, they can't with the details you give. It is perfectly safe to give out Sort code and account number to people, they are written on every check. Still wouldn't recommend it though, your winnings are divided between 100 people, so they may be 5p a ticket but it is only worth 1/100th as much!Just be polite, ask the person you speak to to remove you from their calling list and they will.

Told me something about buying a haggle card after telling me i'd entered into a competition to win the audi. Told them to ring me back next week as i didn't want to give my account details over!

It's not a hoax at all, I do the eurochance and I've won just under a thousand pounds on it! :D :D :D

they ran me yet again today 31/3 but after two hello's a woman told me she was from eurostar 100 then the phone went dead, no call back as yet SURPRIZE!!

this is second time this number called me.didn't picke it up first time,today i did pick it up...heard some noise and voice in background but when i said hallo who's there call was terminated. would really like to know who this is...

its so annoying that i got the same caller daily and now i just picked it up and left my phone there, and every time there's no voice on the other side of the phone but after 10 sec(each time was 10 sec,lol) they just hung up, so so annoying indeed!!!!

I am being constantly bonbarded with phone calls from this number.. Last night it was almost ten oclock when they rang.

its really annoying and hope this stops soon
