This number keeps ringing me and I havent answered because I don't recognise it. Its good to know I havent bothered now too! More Than are estering me with emails as well.

What a waste of my/their time - especially as I dont even own a car!

This number calls me several times a day, daily!! Nightmare - just ignore it now.

I am getting these calls everyday and when I answer it is silent then goes dead after the 3rd HELLO from me!. Very annoying who are these people?

THESE IDIOTS KEEP RINGING ME, AND THE FEW TIMES I DIDNT BOTHER TO HANG UP STRAIGHT AWAY THERE WAS NO ONE THERE. JUST WAIT TILL I DO GET TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE FULL ON ABUSE IS COMING THEIR WAY!

ever since i did some online car insurance searches via one of these searches everyone for best deal sites this number has been calling and calling. I have not answered but am starting to feel stalked!!!  how can we stop this?

I got an online quote from Morethan (which wasnt not competetive enough for me to take out the policy). Within 2 hours of getting the quote I got a call from this number to my mobile (thankfully I didnt put my landline number down). When I answered it went dead, I googled the number and led me to this site.....I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE CANVASSING ME WITHIN HOURS OF GETTING A QOUTE!!

It is more than. To cancel to phonecall... ring the number back, they will then give you another number to ring.... then press 1.. but keep in mind that you have to ring of the number that you are getting the phone call off
iT IS A COMPUTER GENERATED PHONE CALL..... THE COMPUTER RINGS YOU, AND IF IT DETECTS A VOICE, IT HANGS UP (UNLESS AN AGENT IS AVAILBLE TO TALK 2 U).. TRY IT - NEXT TIME THEY RING 0 ANSWER IT - BUT DONT SPEAK - (I ASSUME THIS WILL COST MORE THAN MONEY), DONT SPEAK AND THE LINE WONT DIE...
WASTE THERE MONEY. COMPLAIN TO WATCHDOG - AND NEVER GET AN INSURANCE QUOTE OF MORE THAN AGAIN!... ALSO.... IF U GET AN INSURANCE QUOTE OF ANTOHER COMPANY - GIVE THE 0800 9524851 NUMBER LOL .... (BUT SERIOULSY - NEXT TIME THEY RING - DONT SPEAK - LET IT COST THEM!.

Get calls on my business line asking to speak to my husband.  When I tell them he is not in the office, I'm not sure when he'll be back in, but can I ask him to call them.........they just hang up!!  When I do 1471, it turns out to be this number  -  very rude!!!

We get 3 calls a night.
Rang 08009524871 and gone through their get no more calls process and still get the calls.
More than would not get my business any way as jobs should go to EU people even if premium more than thiers.
We dont answer most times but its annoying as they are in the evening when we are trying to relax after work.
I think now I will be abusive if any one answers.
Call preference does not want to either.

keep getting one call a day from this number. have phoned more than in india and spoke to someone who does not understand me. and then has the uadacity to offer me insurance.
bloody company.
will make a complaint if this is not stopped.

Yep Same as the rest of you, I get calls EVERYDAY! And no one answeres! what do I do about this?? I giveyou more than lucky in a minute mate!!! ( I hate that guy with a passion!!!)

I've had this twice in 2 days, and have cntacted OFCOM, and the BBC, and SKY, and the insurance ombudsman......


It really gets my goat that they think ANYONE will respond to this kind of tactic......

I'm getting calls from this number too. I received two today. Fortunately for me I wrote a blacklisting application for my phone a while ago so if a number comes in it doesn't recognise as being one of my contacts it simply cuts the calls dead - it doesn't even ring. If you guys have a Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition phone (such as a Nokia N Series phone) you can download commercial software that will blacklist numbers in many ways. Check out 'Best Blacklist', 'Handy Blacklist' and 'BlackBaller' for this. If you fancy having a go at coding your own little application then check out www.m-phone.net for the free software you will need in order to write your own from scratch.

I've been called twice by this number so far, on consecutive days. I don't even have a car to have car insurance. My brother and I decided to see how much supercar insurance would be.

I don't even remember giving them my number, I would've just made it up! Haven't picked it up due to paranoia of it charging me. I know it's 0800 but with mobiles they sometimes still cost money.

Yet another victim to the More Than silent caller. I no longer have a car but they send me 2 quotes a week, both addressed identically to me for the same car but the quotes are always different - got to love that! Never touching them with a barge pole.

Hey, glade I'm not alone with the anoying calls - been getting them every day and get the sound of silence when I answer..... dorks.

I made the mistake of checking the net for car insurance, and even though I ticked the boxes to stop these and other calls (and people sending me junk mail), but I still get them.

I have had missed calls on my mobile from this number every single weekday for the past 7 weeks. I am at work so cannot answer my mobile. I do not see why I should have to call them back, you would think they would get the hint I do not accept unkown 0800 number calls. I have signed up with the telephone preference service but still get called. Surely illegal for them to still be calling me..

If I am ever on a break at work when they call, I will be sure to try selling them something they are not interested in and ask them why not... I work in a call centre myself but I would not dare harass people like this!

THEN PRESSED BUTTON 1 HOPE THIS WORKED THESE PEOPLE SOULD BE REPORTED TO POLICE

keep getting called by this number 08009524851it belongs to more than if you dial this number 08009524871 and press option 1 for no further calls then confirm your number the calls should stop hope this helps it did for me.
