They keep calling an office number very annoying

Also receiving repeated calls from these muppets. Have filed the following complaint via the RSA Website

I am on a daily basis receiving calls from the telephone number 08009524851. After doing some research it is clear that this number belongs to More Than insurance. Each time I answer the line goes dead.  These calls are now becoming a nuisance.  Please ensure that I receive no more of these calls otherwise I will be forced to pursue the matter with the appropriate regulator.

Got a call from 08009524851.Answered it and after a couple of seconds silence it cut off.I googled the number and ended up here.
Used to have More Than insurance but cancelled it almost 12 months ago.

Just asks to confirm name and cuts you off!

Only a couple of calls so far (2 days) more to follow i bet.

I also receive countless calls from this company. ( More Than )

Their system works on an auto dialing whereby they call you on the number you enter via compare websites.
If you pick them then your call is re-directed to an advisor hence delay in reply.

Its an unscrupulous sales ploy especially when like me you go to the trouble of ticking 'Do not contact for marketing purposes' They should be regulated for this.

Silent call.  Phoned back, got the same message as everyone else, phoned it, confirmed, then called their 0800300220 sales line to waste some of their time.

Stressed that I'm on the TPS (although I have a horrible feeling I've managed to drop off it *again*, as this is the second spam I've received in two days) and that what they've done is illegal, and they're going to contact their marketing department.  They've said they'll remove me from all marketing campaigns in the future, but that it'll take six weeks.  Bonus: no paper spam, either.  And I wasted about twenty minutes of their time.

UK call centre, clear sound.

every morning between 9-10 these muppets keep calling and hanging up,then in the afternoon they'll call and ask about van insurance, told them to stop calling but they don't listen, won't be ever having insurance with them. Anyway Post Office was cheaper for car and van!!!

Same here guys just been rang with this stupid number. What do they stand to gain from this cold calling ?.

Funny they generally call on a mobile and you have to dail back from the number called to select that option - so the 0800 number is not free!!! What a waste
It should be a compulsory OPT OUT chosen, not opt in - and a choice to select opt in to get a further discount with a warning

Keeps ringing mobile every day. And a few times aftrer 10pm! That takes the mickey!!!! All this even with all my numbers registered with exclusion service.

We've had repeated calls (silence and then hang-ups) from this number usually on a daily basis and today we finally had a representative call us which confirmed as a 'MORE THAN Business' insurance call.

After informing the female representative from MORE THAN Business that we have NO insurance with MORE THAN and we wish for our details to be removed from their database, she continued to ask if we have van insurance. IDOITS!

You must explicitly state "NEVER CALL ME AGAIN", otherwise, the caller just puts your number back onto the heap to be called again later.

Some companies however use "random number" generation, which means you will be called again and again, as it's not being extracted from a database.

I guess all we can do is just hang-up, soon enough, the revenues will dry up, and they'll find another way of annoying us.

I have had the same problem. I have now emailed the head of communications at More than.

I've been getting this number ringing 3 times a day for over a week...

Just phoned the number above for Jon Sellars, 020 7337 5405. Spoke to his PA about the matter, so she says they will look into it.

Follow my lead, I'm sure there'll start gettin fed up with people calling.
