Just had such a call. Won four tickets for a luxury holiday self-catering based on a survey completed. Only cost would be £79.50 admin charge, payable on collection of tickets from one of a number of their offices. Gave freephone numnber 0800 9889904 and a reference number. Told me to call within next half hour for £50 retail vouchers too. I always check these things out hence this message. Did 1471 and was called by 01268 557600.

Just receive a call from 01268557600 teling me that i'd won a free holiday - accomodation and return flights for 4 people - in either Spain, Portugal or some where as hot.... I didn't sound very convinced and the operator told me I should be really excited!!! Cheek when they'r conning you!!!
Googled the details and found this site!

Got a missed call from this number, they didn't leave a message but when i tried to call it back it said number not in use.  weird.  think its a scam.

Just being called by 01268557600 ( CLC Resorts and Hotels) and told to ring 08009889904 and quote 05PET - i new it was a con - i filled the form in at a national trust site!!!!!

I received a call on my company mobile which I had used in a questionnaire for one of the leading insurers when cheking out house insurance (it would appear that they have sold this data on). The company did not identify them selves but congratulated me on my win and then advised me to call the free phone number and quote a reference number. Needless to say I becae suspicious as nothing in this life is for free and asked the operator to email me with the details, again he advised me to call the number and that he could not email as this was against data protection. When I questioned that he was actually breaking the data protection act for canvassing me he put the phone down....hmmm

Well thanks to this website i will not be making a call, i was called this morning by 2minutedraw 01268 557600, wow i have won a luxury holiday for 4 in spain/ canary islands. all i need to do is call 08009889904. i dont think so! well done to this website as it helps us to see who is telling the truth.

Received a call from the 01268 number advising I had won a luxury seven day holiday for two in a choice of places including Portugal, to be taken in the next 18 months. Only cost would be some kind of booking fee of around £29. I was told this was a prize for a survey I had completed some time back for My Offers (I did complete quite a few surveys for My Offers some time ago and those have genuine prizes).

Was given the 0800 988 9904 number and a ref number to call to claim my prize. The number is for Club la costa. I googled the 0800 number and ended up here.

Got a phone call today after completing a survey in spain 2 weeeks ago they rung to say I'd won and had to ring a number.  I was baffled as to why you need to ring another number after someone informs you have won, why do I need to ring another number!!!!!   I Asked what the catch was and the guy said it was their 25th anniversary so they were giving away free hols.....yeah right.  So I goggled the number and was not surprised to come across this web site, thank god for the internet!!  

Surprised that they can still con people with all this infomation about them.

I was called out the blue on my mobile saying I had won a holiday for  taking part in an on-line survey a few months ago. Couldn't recall completeing the survey as they were asking too many questions, anyway i was told I had a choice of going to either Spain, Portugal or the Canary Islands anytime in the next 8 months with accomodation and flights paid for. The over friendly operator said if you ring 08009889904 and quote this reference number they will send you all the details. HMMMMMMMM I thought!!!! Rang local Trading Standards office who said to google the freefone number and if it was a genuine they would of written instead and to be very careful and here I am telling the tale like all the others.

Same story as most people here - got a call telling me that, thanks to a questionnaire I filled out, I'd won a free holiday to Tenerife or Spain. Immediately suspicious when he said that the questionaire was completed 18 months ago; no company takes that long to decide a winner. Caller gave me a reference number and said to call 0800 988 9904, which I immediately googled and that led me here.

I completed a questionaire in Menorca airport.  It was about the refurbished airport! Why are the Menorcan airport authorities allowing this in the departure lounge? The holidays on offer when I rang the 0800 no. were to Algarve,Southern Spain, and tenerife, also to attend a meeting in Haydock etc.. then the penny dropped.

So I feel I have been misled as you would not think this scam could operate in departures.

Someone called today saying we won a 1 week luxury holiday for 4 anytime in the next 18 months.All we'll have to pay is £39.95 admin fees per person.I did fill a couple of prize draws recently at the Excel motorshow,so it sounded genuine.I was asked to call 0800 988 9904 to claim the prize,and when i did i was told we have to go to a 2 hour exhibition and was reassured there is no catch.It's in the evening and not far from where we work, so we may just go and check it,though it looks like a con.

I also recieved a phone call today from 2minutedraw.com saying i had won a 7 day holiday after completing a questionnaire at Manchester Airport before leaving for a family holiday 15 days ago. Soon after i gave my time to answer a few questions, which is most unusual for me, but i was caught in high spirits, i realised i would win and recieve a telephone call as soon as i returned home so i kept the survey reciept. needless to say i did not make the same mistake on our return jurney, i just ignored the "friendly chit chat". I also googled the telephone number and found this site which just confirmed my suspision, although it is tempting to ring when the number is "FREE" and you are told "this is not a scam, just ring the number today and they will send you all the details" but she could not tell me where this office was based!

Call received telling me that a questionnaire I had recently completed (presumably the one I completed on the plane home regarding my holiday with First Choice in May 2008?!)has won me a holiday for 2 for 7nts all in.
After being asked if myself and my partner we're aged between 25 - 59
I was given a reference no. and told to ring Freefone 0800 988 9904 asap.
The person on the phone spoke so quickly, and being rather dubious about this,
I decided to google the company CCLC Hotels and Resorts (their tel no. 01268 557600)and came across this website.
So, I'll save myself the bother of a phone call to them, and hope that this will be a warning to others to be cautious if they receive a similar phone call, and take heed not to complete holiday company questionnaires in future!

Received a call today. Told had won a holiday and to ring 01268 557 6000. I told my partner it was a scam. We did not ring back we then got another call asking why we had not rung back from 01268 5576000. I told the woman I had not rung because I thought it was a Scam. She assured me it wasn't. It was a self catering holiday flights and accommodation paid. I had 18 months to take it all I had to do was ring. I googled the number and got this lot. I don't care if 1 or 2 say it is not a scam. IT IS. If it was true and without a catch you would not need to ring a number and some twit would not be ringing you trying to get you to ring the number.

I have been unindated with calls from the 01268 557600 number - as I was not familiar with the number I did not pick up the call.  Thanks to this website I will not be returning their call.  Once again thanks.

Just received the call from 01268557600 saying that I had won a holiday to Spain, Canary Islands or Portugal.  Was also told that I would recieve a shopping voucher worth £50.  Flights were paid for and I was guaranteed to be staying in 5* accomodation. I could claim this prize within th next 18 months but I must ring the 0800 number for confirmation and they would send out the details.  Don't know why, but I did ring the number and was told that I could claim the holiday if I went to a exhibition at the closest venue which was in Liverpool.  I eneded the call at this point and googled the number to find these comments - thank goodness. A chatty lady approached me at Manchester Airport when departing for my holiday 2 weeks ago.  She quickly filled out my details before I had thought about what I was doing - how stupid of me!!! This is a SCAM!

Received a call yesterday telling us we'd won a holiday. Today (international number) called to ask why we hadn't phoned 08009889904 to claim our free holiday. We phoned and were told we had recently oompleted a survey (can't remember when we would have done this)- I immediately asked what the catch was - was told we had to go to an 'exhibition' (without my son - they would not have liability insurance for a 3 month old !), we would get M&S vouchers to compensate us for travelling, could travel in the next 18mths, would have to pay £29 per person admin fee - the perks just went on ! They have booked us an appointment at Thurrock - after reading all your comments we will not be attending.Thank You !
