Lol ... i just typed in this number. . . and all i read was vodafone vodafone. . .makes sense because i cancelled my contract 3 days ago....retards!

i keep receiving these calls even though im still with vodafone and tied into a contract and havent advised that im leaving? i wish they'd go away!

I have received something like 4 calls from this number today and all I did was get halfway through the registration and ordering process to join Vodafone (I'm not even a Vodafone customer) and then my internet crashed.

I've now thought twice about joining them if they are going to keep calling me all the time.

I've had at least 3 calls from this number today, not answered any of them. But I've never been a vodafone customer.ever. I've got no interest in them.

i cancelled my contract a couple of weeks ago and keep getting mystery calls from this number when i answered i heard nothing then they hung up! Its crazy i had to spend money on registered post to cancel a contract, as my previous letter mysteriously never got there, grr!

I asked for my PAC code off Vodafone 2 days ago, within hours this number was phoning me but I kept ignoring it.  I then read it was Vodafone on this site so this morning I decided to answer it.  FIrst the guy said I had sent a letter in requesting my PAC code which wasn't trus as I'd asked for it over the phone.  Then he asked me to confirm my name and postcode so he could talk to me about it, when I said why are you phoning me I had no answer, so I told them I didn't want to confirm anything and hung up.  This may be genuine but had a dodgy feeling about it. Let's see if they try and call again!!

Had 3 calls by 1500hrs today answered 2 of which the other end hung up... strange as i asked for my pac code from vodafone yesturday an haven`t had this problem b4.

Thank god for the internet. I thought this was a scam line. Now I know its Vodafone is in one way a bit of a relief as I have just sent them a letter to cancel my contract. Why they dont use a normal landline number is beyond me considering all of the scams that go on. Receivers of calls from this number are bond to be a bit wary. Sort it out Voda.

I believe they also call you if you have been in contact with Vodafone recently, whether it was by placing an order online or by any other means.

I was looking to start a contract with them, but they were messing my order about and even said I "failed credit check" so I told them not to bother. I started a new contract with T-Mobile (similar price but a MUCH better plan!) without any of the hassle I got with Vodafone.

Now I've had about 20 calls from this number in the last 4 days, and several emails as well trying to entice me to sign up with them. Too little too late, but the next time I receive a phone call I'm going to tell them where to go as this is getting ridiculous. I specifically said NOT to contact me via telephone! Do these companies not listen??

Ha! I've just cancelled my contract by writing to them but before this I told them via phone in no uncertain terms what a terrible company there were. They've messed me around since day 1. Never again. And no, I'm not renewing!!!

I've had this number phoning me at LEAST 6 times a day for the past three days and when I answer no-one is there.
If it is vodafone as some people have suggested then I contacted them by phone last week regarding ending my contract, and sent them a letter too clearly stating that I no longer wished to be with them and that no future payments were to be taken from my account. I think that explicitly states that i'm ending my contract, i think them phoning me up to 6 times a day is harrassment. VERY ANNOYING!!

I just had a phone call of this number too - but I stupidly answered it - they made out they were the vodaphone promotions team or something - anf gave me all these deals.. I also accepted one of them  but then I rang up vodaphone, they said they have no idea what I'm going on about!! So its basically a scam, and I've no idea what to do now! :(

I have had enough of Vodafone.  Not only has my network connection been beyond ridiculous for the last few weeks, but for nearly 5 months I have been having "renew with us and we will give you this..." phonecalls.  I use the internet infrequently on my phone (I am also with AOL and their isp service has been diabolical of late) but pay through the nose for it.  Yesterday I finally grew fed up with the poor service, the constant hassling phonecalls and the high bill and decided to call and ask for my PAC number.  When I initially called the man I spoke to was all for persuading me to stay with them, reduced minutes and texts and an internet tack on would only increase my monthly bill by £2 a month, and on the understanding that I kept my old phone (which is not in the best of conditions).  I told him that I wasn't interested but still I ended the call without getting what I wanted.  I proceeded to sign up for 3 anyway - £10 less a month, free MSN and more minutes and texts (in combination) than I get with Vodafone.  After getting the new phone and the new contract I called up to get my PAC number...I told them that I wasn't interested in staying with Vodafone, that I had signed up elsewhere with a contract that started as of today and I just wanted to keep my old number...now the calls from this 0808 number have started.  I don't want to have to phone to get them to stop calling me, I am tempted to make an official complaint about their hassling calls and ignoring the request for them to stop phoning.  This is harrassment.

I'm not answering this number...several times a day since I left Vodafone a week ago.

I am also getting several phone calls from this number after writing to Vodafone to terminate my contract. So annoying... Rang Vodafone and they gave me a complaint number and asked me to ring me back in 3 days to get the feedback. The guy reckons that this is due to some system problem.??

Sent a latter to vodafone cancelling my contract coz quite frankly they dont do the best deals. I've had over 10 missed calls a day from this number and its starting to tick me off now.

Got called by this no. - I am a vodafone customer - I answered it but there was no one there!

I wrote and cancelled my contract, and requested my pac code.
I received a missed call from 08080000133 and then got another call 2 hours later, and answered, at first it was quite, but after 5 seconds there was someone there and it was a vodafone guy to give me my pac code. So not sure why everyone else is having trouble...
