I have received exactly the same message, same ref. no. I phoned them ant they told me I can collect a cheque for R450 000 from 62 Margaret St Rooihuiskraal  at the Nokia offices after I purchased R825 worth of vodacom vouchers!!!! SCAM

Same message - checked out other scam sites - most of these scams originate in Nigeria,

I received an sms from a lady by the name of Kim Hayes that my cellphone number has won R450 000 in Nokia Worldwide Free Lottery. Hard to believe because her cellphone is on and off and no landline number, how true is this. I suspect that this is a scam

Yup: It's a scam. Got an sms from number 072 567 3343 saying I had won 950 000 bucks in a FIFA free lottery and that I should call Mrs Mercy on 0787518576.

I got the same message this morning at 6:50, that I have won R950000 in a FIFA Worldwide Lottery. Ref No {N-101 SA}. Call Claims Department. 0835798333 now, help us find this culprit, because it's a scam.

I received the same message(sms from 0711480425), with same amount and same ref number at midnight. I phoned the contact number 0835798333 and was told to, either collect the cheque in Cape Town, or buy airtime to the value of R550 (two x R275 vouchers). The guy who answered the phone was definitely not born in this country.

Got a massage "Congratulations your phone number has won R850 000 from FIFA 2012 Ref FC/012 Please contact Jerry Adams @ 0715605787" I contacted him and he said I have to buy 3xR110 vodacom vouchers and send him the pins so that money can be transfered from UK to my bank account There were two options by the way, the other one a cheque would be delivered by courrier to the given address. I then asked him " why the vouchers" he said the were to activate my account. It was then a question after question as to "what account ....etc" I eventually did that out of curiosity. Later a Nigerian lady called claiming she 's from Prize Claims and demanded R2160 to release my winnings.... infact she said money bis being transfered into my account already, only insurence and bank charges I had to pay that money for. I had given them my R0 bank acc just for safety and I came down on her like a ton of bricks and she hung up on me. Went back to Jerry and told him "look you have my bank details, I have your number now listen to me and listen carefully. I'm giving you thirty minutes to put my money back into my acc before this whole thing turns nasty" He said he'll phone "head office" and will come back to me. still waiting......
