I think this number is another First Assist/Halifax...

Called me once, there was alot of fuzz at their end, then they started talking about a new offer/promotion they were doing. Soon as I heard First Assist I put the phone down.

Phoned saying from First Assist calling on behalf of Halifax. I did speak to First Assiist and Halifax last week asking them not to call me again. Now calling on new number and clearly did not listen to me!!!!!

getting calls from this number then they hang up at 8pm?

Just received  a cal from this number. Obnoxious and rude woman on the phone asking me to confirm my DOB. Refused and told they would call me back. Requested her not to as was not interested but hung up on me!

Have been getting silent calls from this number last two days. Very annoying, who are they ?

Am having callings from this people and told them not to call me anymore and they said to me they will stop callings to me when i listening too them. They calling me aswell today and i have to undo my phone to stop the ringing.

Calls from 08445811015 for five days while at work.  Answered it today and was told it was a call from Halifax.  When asked for my DOB, I told them I wasn't comfortable giving that information out.  She thanked me then hung up.

Two phone calls yesterday...another two today...its getting past a joke.
I now let it ring and don't answer.

I got calls from this number at 8.30pm and from 0203 1035 180. They asked for me, and refused to leave any message to my flatmate.

I have reported to Bank of Scotland, but they aren't doing anything. BT will not block the incoming calls.

So I guess I will have to still receiving this calls until they will get bored of my flatmate answering the phone.

What can we do about this nuisance ? Another three calls today at
strategic times ? The trouble is that I need to answer my phone
for any emergencies that arise in my occupation. Answers and
suggestions VERY welcome.

Nick , next time they ring tell them the person they wish to speak to is deceased.
I had calls from this numba for last four days, refused to give them any details
but have told them this afternoon the person they were wishing to speak to is deceased. No calls for the last three hours, Yippeeeeeeeee!!

I keep getting calls from this number, asing me about my personal details which I refused to give, but they still keep calling, the lady on the ofne was really rude to me so i told her to get lost, but she still keep calling , today she called more than ten times.

I get a call every evening from this number around 5pm, its always silence.

Nick - we've been getting calls four times a day from 08445 811014 who I beleive to be the same people. I contacted consumer direct today (I got their number from their website) who gave me lots of different numbers to call to report this. It's worth contacting them and also try getting your phone provider to maybe block these calls.

Thankyou for your suggestions and will try some of them. If David is still
about...why can't BT stop these nuisance calls ? I was thinking of using
a site prepared to block unwanted calls but your comment made me hold back.

Yep 08445 811014 called me 10 mins ago - Woman said she was calling from Halifax First Assist. She refused to tell me what the 'offer' was without verifying my I.D.: she wanted me to tell her my Date of Birth upfront! I told her if it was a genuine communication they should send me a letter. She 'thanked me for my time' and hung up.

I am a (Halifax)Bank of Scotland saver - I presume this is linked.

Much the same as comments above. I've had calls practically everyday for the past 2 weeks from this numb...mostly always silent but sometimes someone with very bad english asking for me. Always around 1-2pm??/Very annoying indeed. Interesting to know it's from Halifax tough!

I've been having calls from this number for the past 10 days or so, and normally at least one every day. I was curious who they were, so I rang them, and the answer phone message said that they were from Frist Assist on behalf of Halifax. "If you do not want us to call you later, please leave your name and number and we will remove you from your list". I did this last Tuesday, and didn't have a call from them until Thursday. Called them again on Thursday and told them that I didn't want to receive any more calls from them. Had another 2 calls yesterday. Left a VERY irate message last night - wonder whether that will do the trick! What is the point of them saying that they will remove you when they blatantly don't!
