Keep getting calls from this number, they never leave a message.

Just had a phone call.  No message.

I am registered with TPS, so should not get marketing calls.

Said they were calling about government grants for roof and cavity wall insulation.

THey don't listen to the fact that you are part of the TPS they just say no need to be rude when you tell them they have called 8 times that day, and then hang up and continue phoning please stop calling us

this number has rung 3 times today no message and unable to return call...avoid!

I'm registered with TPS but caller didn't care that they had woken me up. Just wanted to know personal details which I refused. Then blocked phoneline for some time after I had hung up.
Very creepy and unpleasant.

They say they are a government grant advisor for cavity wall installation.  Ask them which council has authosised them the use of your telephone number.....

Yes, I just got a call from "The Government's Energy Grant Advisor" -- so good of him to take time out of his busy day to phone mere mortals like me. What a pity we've already had it done and are sick of scammers like him phishing for business, personal details etc.

got a call from them asking if i was a mr so and so told them wrong number asked my address refused to give it and they hung up

asking them which council gave them permission to use your number is a good one for getting your number removed from thier canvassing harrassing phishing databases. or I personally like pretending to be an answering machine asking them to leave thier personal details. or pretending to be a business type call centre you know, please continue to hold your call is important to us then play a tune from childs toy lol.

I got a call from them today, asked to speak to Mr Smith,  I just told them to f off.

Got calls a few times this week from this number. I looked it up on this website and thanks to the website owners and the contributors, I didn't answer and I've avoided being annoyed!

Called me with the same story - said they were the Official Government Advisers for the Slough Area. Surely that must be illegal in itself? They had my name and address. I am TPS registered.

Yep I have started getting these calls as well..not answering..checked on here...but it is so annoying as I am registered with tps as well...!!!  Stop one lot of nuisance calls just to get others..so what is the point of registering to stop nuisance calls when no-one bothers..  Annoyed...!!!

Just received a call from them, re grants for home insulation. When I asked how they got the no. (as we are TPS registered) she said they were a govt org. and therefore had everyone's no.  Gave me a website - MES - which does not seem to exist.  Also the name she addressed me with gives me grounds for suspicion - I feel they may have infiltrated the websites of business or professional organisations.

They said MES

Said they were Nationwide Home Improvements, offering Government insulation grants.  When I asked them whether they were selling anything they changed the subject.  I asked them who gave them my number - they said it was the electricity company.  When I asked them whether they knew I was registered with the TPS they hung up.

TPS registered, however I think I've received more since registering

Hassling me as well even though I'm TPS registered.
