Got a call from this number today at 5:20pm, silent, no idea who they are yet

It's Santander cards

Just called again at 7:51pm, asked to speak to miss something or other (couldnt make it out) I asked what for, they said it's a personal call from santander, i hung up as we don't have any accounts with santander.

Called again today Saturday at 11:54am, asked to speak to caron moore, i think, I told them no one of that name has ever lived here and that if they continued to call i would take legal action, she then asked me if I would like my number removed and i said yes, she asked me to confirm the last 3 digits, which i did, so we will just have to wait and see.

Just had a call again, what a surprise, 7pm Tuesday. This one told us they cannot remove our number from their list.

And again today at 18:21, asking for some one who doesnt live here, I have emailed a complaint to santander and got a reply telling me they had sent my compaint to the  correct department, obviously not as the email came in at 12:09 today andt he phone call 8 6 hours later

Have had 5 missed calls from this number today on hubby's mobile.  He rang it back and got a recorded message saying they were Santander and we'd be getting another call or a letter with important details regarding our bank account.  As it happens I was actually speaking to Santander on the landline this evening about another matter when he received another call. I mentioned this to the lady from Santander who checked and told me that this was NOT one of their numbers, there was no problem with our bank account, and that we should contact our phone provider to block them from calling again.  Scarily, this evening the same number called our  LANDLINE.  All I heard was a woman saying Hello Hello.  We have now (hopefully) blocked it from calling the mobile but not sure how to block from the landline.

same here, repeated messages on answer phone about 4-5 a day sometimes up to 9, leaving message 'hello hello'. then they hang up. (19-10-12)

It's Santander/Abbey/GE Money whatever they call themselves and they are chasing up late payments.

This is not a santander number, Brian, raising a complaint with santander won't do anything, it's a Phishing call, where they ask you to confirm your details in the hope you will enter an account number etc. raising a complaint with santander would be like ringing British Airways and complaining about the headrests on a Virgin atlantic flight

I have had over 15 calls from this number some that's a dead line. Some asking for other people and now asking for me. IT IS NOT SANTANDER. I have called them and had all my account checked and nothing is wrong. I got through today on the dodgy number and asked who it was and what's it regarding, his speech was barely coherent and just said Santander and I had to pass security. I said where is your call centre he replied Newcastle, well they don't have any in Newcastle. And if you aren't happy giving security before they give you a reason they can put an alert on and give you a number to call back on. He said he couldn't do this. So I told him his a scammer and doesn't work for Santander and then he hung up. I called Santander straight back and they said no one has been in to or left a note in my profile. If since reported the number and they have added it to a phishing list

Had calls from this company at home and on my mobile. This is not Santander!!!! I have had this confirmed by that bank 3 times. This is not a telephone number of theirs!!! I have been called on my mobile and on the house telephone within seconds of each other. I have reported it to action fraud and I recommend you do the same.

How do you go about reporting the number?  It has just phoned my landline then my mobile striaght away.  Answered both, but no one was there!!!

This number keeps calling me both on landline and mobile. No idea why or who they are. If it is Santander I have every intention of cancelling my account with them as they have been nothing but useless.

Ths number called again today and said they were from Santander and needed t go through some details with me about my acount. I said I never discussed my details over the phone and she said 'ok' and put the phone down!!

Had about 10 calls from this number and also 08451262663 over the last week or so.

Also had several calls from Santander (or someone claiming to be them) asking for my wife, while she was out, as there are issues with her account. She closed her accounts with them around a year ago and has final statements showing no outstanding balances.
Can't confirm Santander were calling from either of these numbers - will try to do so the next time someone actually speaks to me.
