Since beginning of August I have been receiving calls from 08453004275, sometimes on sunday morning at 8:00,I was really geting mad cause nobody was talking to me wheen I was answering. Then since last week exactly on monday a woman with an accent spoke to me to confirm my details I just told her [***] you and just put down the phone.And today it was a man with an accent telling me he is calling from barclays then he the same answer from me [***] you, the phone went dead again.
Can I find who they are and why they are hounding me?

08453004275 has called me every day, 4 times a day, for the past 2 months.

I have answered and they hang up, I have had my boyfriend to answer, and they just told him to tell me that the bank called (I went into my branch and they had not).

I'm not on a contract nor have ever owned a contract phone, I am on O2 pay as you go.

It's quite possible that they are selling contracts, I just wish they would speak to me so I could find out - it's the not talking to me, yet passing phoney messages on for me that really gets me angry... If any of the idiots calling happen to read this.... grow a pair, and learn to TALK on the telephone... it helps sometimes

These people have phoned me everday for a while now, saying that they are calling from 'my' bank. If it was'nt for the fact that I bank in the UK and not Africa then they might have got me !!!
My advice is to scream like a looney when they phone you, it cheers me up every time !

That is the number Barclays bank use. I have saved it in my phone and everytime Barclays is calling me, it is from this number. It is not a spam, I bet you all have Barclays account. They never ask for full paswords or numbers if you don't tell them to f off you might find out some dodgy transactions were made from your account or that you are overdrawn. Check it next time they call.

this number appeared for the first time a month ago...i got several calls since then.They asked for my Ex when i answered the phone,i explained the nr didnt belong to him anymore,so they should stop calling,well..they havent...and today was a new number 08453006071! also from MY bank...

i dont have Barclays account and i am sure my Ex has changed his new phone number with the Barclays bank already,as he has a new number for about a year!

This number has started calling me today .. 3 times since 08:45am this morning.

I googled it and found your site so I thought I would add my comments.

from reading through this thread the consensus of opinion is that it is Barclays Bank .... I don't have an account with Barclays.

I did ring it back just and a recording said 'your bank called you today and will call back in a few days'

When they call...ask them how they got your number and they will immediately put the phonen down on you....dodgy? Me thinks so!!

have all of you guys had some defaults on yoour credit file in the past/missed payments/etc..., I recon they call anyone from a database that has been sold/leaked/they have access to. they think we're vulnerable and will give away data...... what a piss take hunh!!! idiots!

Received call at 8.56 from the above number, did not answer however as have been getting a few calls from 0845 numbers and was sure this was not one of them

Ive been getting the same calls but most of the time they dont ring for long enough for me to pick up, the one time that they did, they stayed silent, if you record the times they call you can give the number to the police and theyll trace it and contact them but you wont be given any information.

I don't have a Barclays account either and these chumps have rung twice today on my business mobile number! So how did they get that and who are they? My bank / personal mobile company etc don't have my business mobile so how can it be anyone I have a contract / account or association with? I intend to wait for the next call and try and find out EXACTLY who they are...

Rang up a couple of random times during the day but I didnt answer. Decided to google it and found several websites reporting it. I don't know whos number it is but I heard its a scam.

Hmmm... I have recieved three calls from these guys.  I have been talking to my bank coincidentally, but felt it odd that they asked me to confirm my address when they were the ones calling me.  So I simply told them I was unprepared to give it out over the phone.  I spoke with quite a simple girl who spoke like a thoroughbred chav, and probably could've been didled if she didn't speak like such a moron.  That said, it was only when I refused to give my details that voice became apparent, as she attempted to make me feel stupid for not wanting to give out my address.  Banks don't operate like this so beware!

These guys are still calling me - it's been 6 months now - they still don't talk to me, they hang up every time! I don't bank with barclays, i have no credit defaults, and i own no credit cards, or have any loans... it must be some sort of scam, I'm still waiting for the day that they get past what my name is! They always hang up after I ask who is calling (I never verify my name even though they have it right which is a little strange).

I've now contacted my phone company and had the number blocked, I'm looking forward to a lie in on sunday morning without them phoning!
