go the call but didnt answer and called back. recorded message saying its ICM and  bit about what they do.

just to let you all know, i picked up the phone and they said my name and told me it's the 'office of fair trading' doing a survey on people who have bought second hand cars nd wethere they were happy with them etc..but i told them i didnt have time...and thought how did they get hold of my number???

Why am I getting calls from numbers like this?
No message just a notification of the call. Maybe I'm supposed to return the call at premium rates?

I have received many calls from this number. It is ICM direct, a market research company, who can bypass TPS due to rule 17, or so they have informed me.

Anyway, e-mail neil.sykes@icm-direct.com, giving your number and the date of the last call and ask to be removed from their lists.

I did this yesterday, and today received an e-mail apologising, explaining how my number is sometimes called, and stating that i would be removed from their lists within 24 hours.

Their website also has details of to be removed from the list if you have been contacted by them.
