missed this a couple of times if you manage to answer (it only rings once then rings off) you get an automated message from T-Mobile telling you to take no further action but to phone another number if you want to be remvoed from their 'calling lists'.
called me 3 times today, ignored it every time, just looked it up, cant find it on t-mobile, and even www.saynoto0870.com doesn't know what it is, and that has a whole load of numbers for t-mobile, so the number definitely doesn't belong to t-mobile, its clearly a premium rate number scam, ignore it
Number continuously calls me, answered it once and a lady answered saying she was calling on behalf of t-mobile in regards to upgrading my contract, she said she had found me a great deal and said that i could pay using a credit card. I told her i was not the owner of the phone and to call back some other time. I haven't answered again, even though they seem to call at least once a week.
Just got a call from this number. Didnt answer, but put the number into Google and found this website. Thanks for info, will ignore it if it calls again. Sounds like a scam.
I got 2 calls from this number today. I missed the first call, and was curious so I found this web page. I then got another call from them and asked that they take me off their calling list. They said they were T mobile and I said I didn't want them to call, if I wanted to speak to them I would call them and that they should correspond with me through the post, like they have been and she hung up on me.
Which made me doubt it was T mobile as she was rude.
So I called T Mobile and they said it was them who called, and I asked them to put a note on my account to correspond through written letters and stop calling me. And they did!
Got a call from someone who said they were from T-Mobile and wanted to discuss the contract renewal. I believe they were genuine as they new the account holder's name, but as I'm not the account holder they wouldn't discuss the details.
This is a call from T-Mobile, and it will relate to cotract renewal. beware that you are entering into a verbal contract, and they (currently) refuse to send you any details of what you've verbally agreed in writing.
I too have received a call from 08454122700, I have had a note inserted on my account for the caller to leave a message on my answer phone. If they leave a message Identifying their department & name, I would go through the customer services short dialling code. The nice gentlemen dialled the above number & confirmed It was t-mibile that rang me.
I had one of these calls the other day (I was at work so couldn't talk) and I reported this to T Mobile and they called me back today - I'm not entitled to upgrade for another month so was a bit suspicious.
A guy from T Mobile called me this morning to say that it's definitely not a T Mobile call if it comes up with any kind of 0845 number, it'll just come up 'Call' like mine did this morning.
The guy I spoke to did say that it might be Phones for U (who I got my T Mobile contract from) ringing to see if I wanted to upgrade but they should declare that they're calling from a Third Party company if it is that and to do anything else is a bit naughty.
Moral of the story, I think, is - get them off the phone and sort your renewal/upgrade in a normal way!!
wow just got a call from the number and google it to find this. Whoever it was did not leave a message. I will not be answering it - they should leave a message.
Just got called from this number. If it is about contract renewal then they are obviously just fishing, because mine doesn't expire for another 13 months!
