I received a cold call from this number, the guy was offering a £600 website which could earn me £90,000 a year, load of rubbish! The company was www.franchiseforsale.org.uk but the number is also for www.business-for-sale.co.uk which seem to be the same company.

I read a www.franchiseforsale.org.uk review and it seems like a total scam.Timewasters and scammers! Also got a text from them the number they used was 07807099406

Are you silly or what ? If it sounds like a scam what u doing even talking about it.. What proof you've got to say that it's a scam then ?, I think you need to grow up. Just because a business has a mobile number or own more then one website that don't mean that they are a scam.. How do we know you are not a scam ?

To warn others not to fall victim??? What's it to do with you? Why dont you go buy one of their sites and  make 90K+ a year for a £600 investment then. Best of luck mate - the numbers there! Also, I don't run a business, how on earth could I be a scam you T W A T.

This is well known Internet scammer James Marnley! Stat away from franchiseforsale.org.uk!!!

I am more than familiar with James Kevin Marnley from Torquay, devons Internet scams! I have fallen victim to one of his wholesale scams when he owned scamming website topwholesaleshop.com. This man needs to be stopped and people need to stay away from franchiseforsale.org.uk at all cost.

I paid £3000 for a website from James marnley with promises I would make 40k per year, safe to say I've not made a Penny! Total liar, promises everything under the sun untill he gets your money.

You paid £3000 for a web site and never made a penny ? That company sells brand new opportunities and all the web sites are brand new and not established so if you have made no money its because you have put no effort into marketing the business.

There is a old saying, If you don't get up out of bed you won't make any money. What was you expecting ? pay £3000 and that would earn you a living without even lifting a finger ? If your a customer of this company please share your web site ?

How did you make payment for the business ?

I have done research into the false posts put onto GOOGLE and found that most of the sites which display these false claims to be owned by the same company. How can you trust a review when its the same person posting and posting over and over again on lots of places.

With certain WHOIS tools on the Internet you can see who owns these review sites and its the same company who is in fact a competitor in the same trade.

I have spoken with James about this post here on this website and he showed me the agreement which is standard for all the businesses he sells and everything is clearly written in the agreement - Its then totally up to you if you accept the terms and to be honest with you its not to complicated. If your concerned about what's on offer nothing stopping you asking questions or changing the agreement.

You could try and buy a business from someone else and the terms of contract will be hidden within the web site and later if unhappy you wouldn't be able to do anything about it. At lease now when dealing with James everything is up-front and nothing is hidden.

James accepts payment in two parts, First payment before the handover of the business and the same again once all is handed over so only when the buyer is totally happy its then the buyer makes final payment. Which is much better then paying a company all the money up-front and hoping for the best.

In this world we have people who think they can pay £500 or even £3000 and give up a full time job straight away with little work whatsoever.  It takes time and effort to build a business and its not something which happen's over night. With a nice looking web site designed to the way you want it and help with marketing and life time support is priceless! This is not a sign for a scam company. Scam companies take peoples money and run they don't offer support!!

James had a problem once with a competitor which owns a directory web site which he paid £400 to join and they continued to take money from his bank account every month when not even listed within the directory. James was stupid and posted some reviews on the Internet about this issue and it totally backfired!

The directory site owns many drop shipping and wholesale scam sites which they post good reviews about themselves and bad reviews about other companies to drive traffic to there own money making web site. All it took was James posting two reviews on TRADEVV and one other site because of the £400 scam and this backfired totally.

Why would a directory site own scam blogs and forums ? Its to trick the general public into thinking that there services are great when its not. Not just James has had problems with this same company, DVDDROPSHIP, DROPSHIPLAND, and many other companies have had problems with this same person who posts the fake reviews.

Seems to be the same old links being posted all over with no real solid proof that this company has done any harm to customers or competitors. If you look on the gov website and do a company search this company haven't even been training for 13 years. So I don't see how can someone say that they have been running for 13 years.

I have also checked the links within that link you've given and only two links work.

So whoever you are posting rubbish, I think you need to grow up and if you have a problem with them maybe it's best to visit them in person.

If we are selling a bulk load of products or selling a business or an opportunity to someone then they know exactly what they are buying because all will be stated within the agreement.

Even when we try our best to make people happy their will always be ONE happy customer who expects to have a free ride or expects to make millions within the first year trading.

The point I am saying is that not many people would go out of there way to say something good especially if your a wholesale supplier or a trader or someone selling an opportunity because NO one wants to give away their trade secret sauces. If you had a good wholesale supplier would you tell the world ? NO, Because that will give your business more competitors.

We try our best to please everyone but sometimes this is just not possible. Any traders on the Internet will say the same words. Its the small amount of people who can be awkward and rude that gives GOOD businesses a bad name. Take a look on EBAY at EBAY sellers and view feedback from buyers, Some customers really slander sellers over silly and stupid things.

Hello Concerned Man - If your a customer and you've taken him to court please show us all some proof. What's your name ? What court did you go to ? What is the court reference number ? Upload a screen shot to show everyone ?

I am thinking this is a scam company who we used to have problems with when we was in the wholesale sector. Because this company gets so many bad reviews they are trying to say that the reviews are fake and posted by James.

WholesaleDeals.co.uk have been banned from many forums on the internet for the way they handle their customers in a very aggressive manner, and when their customers make complaints on a forum, they decide to threaten forum owners with legalities. Although some forums know their standing, based on proof of content.

Wholesaledeals.co.uk also now own their own forum, which they are actively self-generating postings, pretending to be forum members, so they can use their admin account to then place derogatory and libellous comments about dropshippers, in an ill-attempt to drive traffic towards their own esources website, or to their affiliate links to worldwide brands. They are also amending postings on their forum from months ago, which look like they have been created by a forum member, to then add derogatory content. Nearly all of their postings have been self generated. Shamefull.

Wholesaledeals.co.uk may have started out with a good, decent business, but now they have turned into the gutter with their antics, and have poisensed their own reputation. So much so, [b]that they have also started going around other review websites blatantly placing derogatory content against dropshippers. This is not the behaviour your would expect from a 'professional' company.

The spam, the payments taken (as many of their customers have stated) from you when you didn't think you were on a subscription. Banning your IP, and then trying to upsell you to a different package. These are all issues their customers have stated around various forums on the internet.

Suppliers, dropshippers, and wholesalers WANT to be found, and at end of the day, they are not going to limit themselves to inclusion in a 'directory' just so a company can sell their details.

The other problem is, with verification. esources claim to verify all their suppliers, to stop their customers from falling foul of a rogue trader/supplier. This is not true, there are suppliers who have claimed that they were never verified, which then begs the question, are any verified?!

Any suppliers who fall out with esources, esources then claim the dispute is because the supplier fell out with them because they were excluded from their directory. When in reality, they never asked to be in the directory in the first place, and simply found out that esources do NOT verify all of their suppliers. It is just a trick to get you to believe you are buying a quality list.

We would advise that you definitely avoid these people. You do not have to pay for such information. Sure, they get customers because some people are lazy and will not search, but there is not a supplier in their directory, that you cannot find yourself, either on this forum, or by quickly using Google.COM

1 - They have made many fake web sites which show on the first ten pages showing all good reviews. they in-fact own all these web sites with the good reviews.

2 - Many claims on the Internet - Money taken from someone's bank account without warrant.

3 - They have for many years been posting fake reviews about their competitors.

4 - They have been sending e-mails to web site hosts demanding posts to be removed. Why shy away ? Why not speak up and answer your customers questions.

5 - Try and talk about this company on THE WHOLESALE FORUMS - and see what happen's to your post ? Guess what it will be removed. Most of the wholesalers trading platform are scared to talk about this company because they write fake reports on other competitors on all their scam BLOGS and Forums.

Thanks for the warnings about the wholesaledeals website, on further research they do own esources, wholesaleforum, dropshipforum, all scam and very spammy empty member forums with 1 post answers saying how great these scam websites are. Lots of poor blog posts talking these scammers up as well (outsourced to India!)

Luckily for everyone involved I have now been alerted to this case and I will not rest until a satisfactory outcome is reached.
