Called today, didnt even speak and hung up....casing empty houses?

Called and hung up as soon as i answered.

Man called and asked if i was mrs PORN (yep that right mrs porn ) then I answered No then he asks if there was a mr PORN in the household I reply you have to be joking m8 then he hangs up. This is SICK and i WILL report to police if it carrys on.

i answered phone and a woman said she was from some company or another. (i didnt catch the name)she said i had won 15 thousand pounds in prizes. she hadnt even asked for my name!!!! i said that i was not interested and she tutted, sighed and hung up. i guess they are trying a new way to accomplish their goal.

I answered the phone saying 'hello'. The man on the end of the phone stuttered a bit, then said 'bear with me a minute', shuffled the phone around a bit and then hung up! So annoying!!!

Wanted to speak to my mother regarding a supposed booked appt for the following day regarding a conservatory. When I explained this was not possible and asked for our number to be taken off of the database, the caller became very rude and condescending. I put down the phone and they called back! I was furious and demanded to know who was calling and what company but they would not tell me, continued to argue with me until I put the phone down again!

Had phone call from this number asking for the homeowner.  I said they were away.  He wanted to know when they would be back.  I asked "can you tell me who is calling" and he said "no" and hung up.

"Hello, this is Laura from Weatherseal. I'm just calling to let you know that you've won £1500 worth of home improvements."

"I see. What's our name?"

"Laura."

"No, what's our name?"

"We don't have those details. We just call the numbers that are selected. It's on the TV and everything."

"Can this money be spent on anything with any company?

"No."

"So we haven't actually won anything in a draw; it's just a discount  promotional offer?"

"It lasts for up to two years."

"OK, there are some rules about the conduct of marketing phone calls. Can you tell me anything about that?"

This number has just called me cliaming to be from the national lottery. I had won £25 million but I had to be in Lancashire within the next 6 minutes! He said his name was Sam and asked me to confirm my phone number.
I don't do the lottery and thought it was one of my mates winding me up.
