We received several calls which hang up once answered. Police refused to do anything about it. Telstra put a block on the number for us. Perhaps it is just equipment fault, but I am told this company speficially targets the same number over and over again. Perhaps this company should be deregistered if it is their policy to break australian telecommunications rules.

call from telstra to check my account is okay ? WTF, they called me 2 weeks ago, when the caller asked for my date of birth i knew it was a scam

Could be a skype or similar number which you can buy on the internet!

have been receiving calls from this number for a week, which I have let go unanswered.

On returning the call the recorded message says they are a telco company wishing to discuss my telstra products.

I have received several missed calls from this number, they never leave a message and  When I try to call it back it doesn't even ring and goes to a busy signal and cuts out

I was overseas when the barrage started.  Called back a few times at my expense and line goes dead.  Found this website and found out I was not the only one with the issue.

Now I just let it ring out.  Frustrating.

This number left a rude message on our answering machine, if they continue to do so, I will call the police

The number called my mobile and pretending to be Telstra. They asked my date of birth and address. I refused to supply of course. Will block this number from calling.
