How is the allowed!! this is harrasment, I just called them to ask to stop and they didnt know who had called me as it is too many companies all i have to do to stop it is confirm my number and other details?? how have they got my number in the first place this is silly! I asked to speak to somone who wasnt recepetion and they put the phonedown on me? maybe i will call them 6 times a day and say nothing?? see how they like it

Firstly .. if you register with TPS this type of call will not stop! They probably route calls over the internet and redirect to a UK Non geographic number as appears on you phone when they call. This general means they are not based in the UK and therefore difficult to trace.

Bottom line, whoever they are do not give them your details... to any of them!

You could try playing games with them if you feel confident enough to do it, but my advice just don't answer.

This number keeps calling me, so i put their name into google and found their email address, i have emailed them asking them to stop calling and mention my mobile number is listed on business preference service and they could be sued for calling me! We will see what happens.

Just so you know the google adsense in the top left hand corner advertising Debt 24 is actually Baines & Ernst they are everywhere avoid them.

while i was working on my pc the caller phoned my house asking for my wife
i told my son to the the man to phone back in a couple of hours the person on the phone then started asking my son awkward questions his age and who was in then at the end of the conversation he said he would phone back in a couple hours and SOMEDAY better be there to answer the phone ie or they would be comming round to my house and there would be trouble

Number has called me umpteen amount of times today whilst I have been in many meetings. You'd think they would get the hint when someone does not answer wouldn't you!

I might have to start playing games with them!

very strange, called them and they said that i had been sent a letter, so i told them i was homeless, so where did they send the letter to?
the foreign lady just said thank you and hung up, they wont give their names, you could have a six year old call them and they would read the same script, its ridiculous.
all in all , got no where, still getting the calls, and they never even asked for my number to get it removed from their lists!

I am always getting that number calling me, I have answered it a couple of times and they just go silent and put the phone down.  They must get money for us answering the calls.  Anyway, I have barred the incoming number on my phone now, they can poke off!!

Please be aware they also have Debt 24 The Funding Network and a Debt collection division all under the Paymex company.As i said in an earlier post I used to work for them so know all there tricks and they are trying to profit from your debts DO NOT ENTER INTO ANY SORT OF AGGREEMENT WITH THEM.For all I know this site could be connected to them nothing would surprise me.

7 times in the last two days this number have tried to contact me. I called from a different number and asked who they were. They asked me where I got the number or was I answering in regards to a missed call.

I pressed them for their company details, the chap got shirty and asked me the same questions again.

I laughed and put the phone down. The reason? I work in telesales, and if my boss heard me using that tone, he would clear my desk for me.

Fools keep phoning me, for around 2 months now i never answer.I have started hanging up recently..... buts they still call its very annoying!!

7 missed calls today!!!!!

Have been getting these calls on and off for six months and I cannot get rid of the company nor can I complain as I have no idea who they are.  tried calling and yes all I get is a narky asian woman who when I ask her company name, she gets really rude and hangs up.  Started answering calls now with silence, next its an airhorn, eventually they will give up.

This number has just phoned me too. I called the number back and a man answered and just said "hello", so i hung up. Like Robin, i googled the number and came up with this site, so thought i'd add my grievences too.
I do hate cold callers. Mind you, i'd hate to be a cold caller even more.

I told them I worked for a consumer act company and they apologised and said they won't call again. We wait and see...

i get missed calls from this number on my home and mobile phone it usually rings once or twice then they hang up before i answer it is really annoying

My grandmother got a call from this company at her home number asking for me, I have no idea how they connected my name to my grandmothers phone number, and I am a girl who has just turned 17, it confuses me as to why a debt company would call a 17 year old girl in the first place.

had a few missed calls from this number too. Ignore them, I always do. If they have reason to be contacting me they will have my other phone numbers and address as well.

I normally have missed calls from this number every other day.  I am also a firm believer in not answering calls from numbers you don't recognise.  I also believe that genuine companies who have genuine reason to call, will leave a message requesting you to call a specific person on a specific number.  I have been receiving these calls for the last couple of months and do not answer any of them... Also, from reading above posts, I have received no letters or contact from them.  Could someone clarify whether they are a debt colelcting agency or like a debt consollidation company (supposedly that is)???
