Kept getting calls, when I answer I hear people talking in the background but they never want to talk.

Said they are calling about an Orange Bill I havent paid!
I have no idea what they meant!

I've had the same experience - many calls from this number and each time I answer, just background noise that sounds a bit like the inside of a pub. Occasionally I’ve answered and a male with what sounds like an eastern European accent asks for someone (the last time it was Kathleen Flack) and when I say there is no one of that name here, they just grunt and hang up. Altogether, I’ve had about a dozen calls.

Me too - they called me at 8am this morning but I couldn't answer as I was feeding my baby - they left a message on my answerphone but all I could hear was mumbling and background noice. It was very strange!

I'm not calling it back - sounds far too dodgy to me!

I get calls from this number, saying its urgent but failing to identify themselves or say what it is about.  Its always has very bad background noise

Had a call from this number also, very dodgy to me, rang them back and they couldnt give me any information.  BENT AS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recieved a call from 08701525672 when i answered they just saying you have any financial problem. I asked them how did you get my number and what info do you have about me. they dont have anything else to say except my name and then the call disconnected.

The numbers for NCO Europe Debt Collection Agency. Orange use them to collect unpaid bills.

I keep getting these - so annoying, never leave messages, and then ask you loads of questions about yourself when they do get hold of you.  Last time they called, I asked them to not call me again, yet today, I've two missed calls from them, so that worked!

My daughter got into trouble with her Orange phone bill, and they wrote demanding nearly £600 paid immediately.  Unless we paid £139 immediately, and then back to her contract amount every month.  So I paid the £139 straight away, and gave them DD details to take the monthly payment on - they then wrote again threatening debt collectors, and I told them that I'd paid, and they said there had been a mistake, and that the DD would be set up and a mandate sent out to me, and the line reconnected, and then I notice that I've a missed call from them again this morning - not sure whether to phone them back or not.

NCO... keep missing calls from these because im at work.. messages are left on my phone every day, they are chasing me for an end of contract underpayment with orange for a total of £16.95 that i forgot about a few months back. Phoned orange to clear it but they gave me the number for NCO and said the debt is with them, cannot wait to get a hold of them to see how much they have put on top of it.

Reported them to BT who say they can't do anything and in turn they will have to report them to the telco operator who looks after that number.

In my case, I have a new BT number which must have been owned by the person they are looking for so I get daily calls and some of them have been almost threatening.

This number calls my mums house every day, asking for someone who does not, and has not lived at this address. These calls need to stop as it is DISGRACEFUL!!!!!

Thanks for the information folks.  Almost incomprehensible phone operator said they were from NCO blurrrrrrrr and I couldn't get him to clearly annunciate at all.

I did have problems with Orange a year or so ago wrt a dodgy cash-back scheme that fell a part just as I was supposed to get some of the cash back.  NAughty boys Orange for getting people into that.  The Orange service was pretty poor anyway, so I wrote and told them I wasn't using them anymore as I had subsequently gone out and obtained a much superior service from Vodafone.  I switched off the Orange phone and told them they could come and collect it.  I'd overpaid for the poor service I had received at that time anyway!!  Orange never logically answered any of my complaints and just got (what now seems) a string of debt collection agencies on board, the latest seemingly this NCO blurrrrrrrr.

If you are reading this Orange or NCO blurrrrrrrr - get a life !!!  and treat people with respect!!!  You seem to be applying a business model that is badly outdated.  Ever heard of putting the customer first and providing a decnt service????? ... Thought not !!

i get calls daily from these people. the voicemails left have changed from 'this is an important message for (name) call back on.. ' and an 0121 number even though the calls come from either 08701525672 or 08701525689, to a message saying 'Hi this is Andrew, can you call me back as soon as you can on 0121..... Im here till 9, thanks!' On the one occasions I answer the call I got some arrogant jumped up pratt on the phone threatening me and being abusive regarding an outstanding Orange payment of.. £3.25.

I previously had a pay monthly sim that allows u to cancel at anytime no cancelation fees and as I had lost my job, I could not afford to maintain the contract so gave Orange the 30 days required, paid the outstanding monthly bill of £15.00 they advised me of. They gave me a date the line would terminate (3 weeks later) however they disconnected the service within 48 hours and only took £11.75 from my debit card. I called and questioned this and they said it was correct and the bill had been adjusted accordingly, and sent out a payment confirmation letter and note to advise the account had been closed down as requested. Now 7 months later I get calls daily 3-4 times a day, a voicemail left each time demanding this money. Ive spoken to Orange who are investigating this (locating the call etc..) however I still get the calls and when I advised NCO that it was being disputed with Orange they advise the amount is £3.25 PLUS a reconnection fee of £15. I dont want it reconnected. I tell them this then they push and push and get all heavy with the 'if you dont pay, yeah, Ill take you to court, yeah.. give me you card details to take a payment today to stop it'. I work as a collections advisor for a utility company, and if I ever spoke to my customers in this manner, Id be unemployed right now. When I ask for a supervisor I get told there isnt one and a bunch more attitude, and when I question their DG9 and DG6 Regulations they hang up on me, then call back 5 minutes later on their 'automated dialler service' and then every other couple of hours afterwards. Ive received payment slips from them and despite advising them that I will make payment at the bank or payment or to Orange directly they continue to call and harass, threaten and bully for £3.75 and have had some smarmy git say 'well you should pay you bill shouldnt you? Refusal to pay I will take you to court..' Bring it on.. It will get laughed out. Ive reported them to OFCOM (http://www.ofcom.org.uk/) and filed a complaint with Orange diectly who are bound by legislation & guidelines to investigate further and respond within 5 working days or resolve within 10 as they are blatantly not adhering to guidelines.

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the telephone calls that I have received from your company.

I have Written and requested that these stop, but I am still receiving calls.

I am now formally requesting that all further correspondence be made in writing only.


I demand that these phone calls stop immediately. I am now familiar with the terms of Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970, and the Protection from Harassment Act 1970 and I believe your harassment places you in breach of these acts.

If you continue to call, you will also be in breach of the Wireless Telegraphy Act (1949) and, as such, I will report you to both Trading Standards and The Office of Fair Trading.

You will be deemed to have been served notice of my request and I will deem it served by (04/03/2009), I am advising you that any calls received after this date will be recorded with the intention of them being used as evidence.

The caller "08701525672" from NCO Europe Financial called me to ask about my address...I asked him WHY..."He answered to protect the privacy of my account he needs me to verify my address" I asked why again, he said: "You'll get a letter and he hanged up on me" Very strange!!!

Keep getting called from this number, answered it 10 mins ago, asked if i was LM and did i recive there letters.  Asked who it was said NCA EURO?!  Mr. Harper.  but when i said i hadnt got any letters he moans fine then and hangs up!
