I have just received a call from this number, lots of noise in the background.  Had hung up before whoever it was got a chance to talk!???

Just got a call from this, if it is survey people it's probably them calling numbers and hanging up just to make it look like they've phoned people.

To stop this happening you need to report it to Ofcom and get a refernce number to make sure they take a note of the complaint. Unlees lots of people call, the call centre behind this get away with it.

have been getting calls from this number, i dont answer them now, when i did, they always hung up ! think they do want you to call them back (scam) once they did not notice that thier call had went through to my answering service and i had voice mail of 2 very distinctive female glasgow accents having a convo amongst themselves.
Its a very sad world that people will employ others to basically make nusiance calls, i dont know who is worse here the employer or the employee

Mostly the same as above laughing and noise in the background (scotish and pub noises is a good description), some girl say they are a local company and ask what about my house type then the line disconnect.

calls then as soon as I pick up the line goes dead.
I wish they'd make cold calling illegal.
that other one with the automated voice gets on my tits too.

Just had this number call two days in a row and im sure theyve called a few times before also, about 16:00hrs each time, just out of interest im with TALKTALK. If people start putting their service provider it may show a trend appearing, just a thought!

Same as everyone else, calling repeatedly, normally silent calls. However tonight heard a young scottish bloke in the background discussing his social life, if i could hear him he could hear me, he then said hello and hung up! I have reported them to ofcom as its not acceptable! tried calling them back, rung out for 3 mins with no recorded message of who they are or why they are calling!

I have missed a call from this number a few times!!  does anyone have an idea who or what it is yet?

Phone rang and before I could answer it stopped.  Dialled 1471 and ascertained that the caller's number was 08702209318.  Number unknown to me and therefore understandably I did not phone back.

None the wiser and is probably a nuisance caller.

I get calls from these people sometimes, Last time a woman said was I the homeowner I said yes and she started raving on about how her company 9didn't say who) had been given money with which to Do the Windows, Doors and Conservatories or homes in my area and wanted to know how many i'd change if I could get them done for a discount price - I just said None and asked her not to call again, they have done since but I never answer anymore. Judging by that womans accent I'd say she was from Glasgow! :)

Just got this call - asked for the property owner, when asked who was calling they said "a company, I'll call back" then hung up.
I was a Team Leader in a Call Centre, this guy was reading from a script and new to this job.

I'm on everything that restricts my number, never give out my number as a contact - I have a mobile that sits in the hall - when this goes off me and the kids know it's probably a call centre, we're never the "property owner" - we usually say it's a 'council house' - and we're never give date of births or bank numbers over the phone. (unless we call them - bank and utilities)
we make one chargeable call per month, usually to the answering machine.... they still leave messages!!!!

The great thing is we switch the phone off when we want peace! Fantastic!

I'm sure it's double glazing

Just received the phone call.  It was a Scottish man - no noise in the background so it sounded like he was in his own house - he asked for the home owner and when I said he wasn't in, could I take a message, the answer was "No it's all right.  I'll call back another time".  Sounded like he was eating as well.  A bit rude if you ask me.  

It'll be a scam or a sales pitch.
