    Have been receiving messages from this number as well as others.  Some have contained porn.  I opened a case at the police station so that I could find out who was behind this.  The case was thrown out of court.  Reason:  No proof of who is sending the SMS!  

    Vodacom will not do anything about this unless requested to do so by the SAP!

    I'm worried that information is being phished, or that I might be in for extra charges on my account. A simialr expereince happened to me a few years ago on a different number, and I landed up paying an extra R400 per month on my phone bill. Anyone know what I should do?

    I believe a mobile is a necessity not to mess around with and the data basis information should be penalised for this because it is too easily accessible.  thus the reason for all the scams going around and people not have privacy to their own phones
