Ridiculous....keep getting 2 rings then they hang up. I think they want you to ring back then they charge for a connection to the numba!!

1 ring then they hung up.  Tried to call back but it just rang out.

They say that the phone contract is about to expire and when I said I dont hav a contract they just say sorry and hang up- dont even bother calling these idiots.

I just received a call from this number - 08707188418 - 2 rings and so I called back - when I asked who it was they said nothing?! Glad I found this site.

By the way it says - '' please hold while I try to connect you'' if you dial the number - possible you could get charged from dialling the number...

Its annoying. Cant we like file a complaint or something??

They called me while in a lecture. So I called back realised what was going on and that I was going to get charged so hung up. Just hope I dont get charged much.

Just happened to have been phoned by this number , rang twice and just stopped and didn't call back. I Googled the number and found this page - I'll put that number on my reject list just in case I forget who they are and one day answer.

maybe the trick is to answer the call as soon as possible so it costs them money.

Like others i googled it to find them too, they're calling my work blackberry. Pain.

Be good if someone "techy" could find out who it is so we can make their lives a misery!

Yep someone or somthing's trying to call, 2 rings then stop...Ain't bother waisting credit ringing back. Next time don't stop and continue ringing...

iv had a chat with a friend of mine in the IT world, they seem to think that this is a new way of getting hold of people.

What they do is say they have 20 staff, a computer generates 50 calls and constantly rings, as soon as 1 of the staff pick up the phone and are connected, then the computer hangs up all other calls...

Im led to believe this number belongs to a mobile phone company, i have had about 10 calls from them saying..."your contract is about to expire"...i say no, then they say " sorry to of bothered you"

the last time they got hold of me, i told them to stop calling me, but it doesnt seem to of worked, as iv had 2 calls from them today that just hung up on me.

the next time they call ill get their name and post it.

Just got a call from this number, a guy said his name is Jimmy or something, also said something about mobile contract thing. God, the guy's voice and laugh really scared me!!! Going to report to police about this!!!

This number has called me loads over the last few weeks- i never pick up numbers i don't know. When i called it back from a landline it just said' please wait while we connect you' and then rang and rang. My contract is due for renewal so i wondered if some dodgie companies get your number to go through them instead....i don't think so!
