I had a call from this number, chap with a Welsh accent I believe, I listened to him for a few seconds and realize that it was some sales type operation. So I said "sorry you've got the wrong number" and hung up. He rang up back three or four times, adamant that he hadn't got the wrong number! He wasn't rude, he was just persistent, and possibly a little bit nuts.
I Keep getting the same guy as the other's said Welsh, guy, we are a Business, and he talked to my Boss one time and he is calling back and wants to talk to him all the time now. My boss however does not to talk to him, so i have to keep telling him that he is not able to take the call, but he is ringing me every single Hour of every single day. its really getting a pain. is anyone having the same things as me.
Hi just got a call from the same number. I said that I was not interested and put the phone down. He called me straight back and I told him to hold on the line :) Guess what? I put the handset aside and he waited, waited, waited...........
Have no idea what they do but i too have recieved a call from them. They asked for my boss by name but she was not available. They would not leave a message and would not tell me who was calling. I just called the number back after ending the call and got a recorded message stating that they were creditsafe.
Just got a call from these people for the first time. A persistant girl with a Welsh accent. I said the boss was unable to take the call. She rang back and tried again...she was pretty rude to me. I don't like this aggressive selling technique (which they're obviously trained to do), and looking at the comments on this website I think I'll report them to the Trading Standards Authority. I don't feel it's acceptable for a company to phone me up unsolicited and be that rude!
I work within the industry, creditsafe have an awful reputation for hassling, failing to remove prospects details when asked etc.
As above your best best is to inform them that you will take action should they continue to harrass you - it probably wont have any impact but heres hoping!!
snap just had another call from them asking for my boss told him he not here. she asked when he be back i said i dont know she spoke to me like i was lieing grrrrrr dont you just hate them,

Just had a call from CreditSafeUK trying to sell me a years service for £960. Because it was a trainee on the phone doing the pitch I thought I'd be patient and try and make it easy for them - knowing full well I'm not buying! I got passed onto her manager who is supposedly 'more experienced'...
She tried the hard sell and was very persistent - even after explaining that her company couldn't really offer me anything worth £960 because I'd never use it. That's when the offers started coming... I thought I'd see just how low they rate themselves. First offer £350 the price of their Low User account - for the Unlimited service. I said no deal. £200? Still nope. £150? Nope - not going for it. She then said I'll leave you to think about it (like I was going to?) and has since tried calling back twice.
One bonus is, they don't have caller ID hidden - so you know it's them calling!
I've just had a call from them. After i'd told them the bosses were unavaliable and asked if I could help they said they'd spoke to my boss 18mths ago and they had asked for a call back around now. I said that couln't have been the case as they wouldn't have known the information they had just provided me with and that i'd have been given as contact. The chap immediatly got very offensive and asked if I was calling him a lier I was polite and said not at all with which he repeated himself again more aggressively than the first time. How on earth do they sleep at night!!!!
A very unprofessional company who dont deserve to trade. Can they be reported to Trading Standards????
I have literally just had a call from this company too asking for for our MD when they need to talk to me - they are very persistent and will not get anywhere
This welsh guy called about their credit services and he was persistant. Started at over £1000.00/annum but got him down to £300.00 after at least 10 calls in one day. Told him not interested but he must have called everyday for the past week.
I hate getting these unsolicited sales calls - that's why I have a receptionist (she hates them too). Have tried the very british polite "not interested thanks, please don't call again" but they call back next day, even if you hang up. Will they ever give up ????
Just got a call from this number. The guy started by saying "Hello, mate, how are ya doin'?". Not very business-like! Call me old fashioned but I don't like being spoken to like that by someone I don't know. I said "Learn some manners, you ignorant little t**t, now f*** off and stop bothering me!" and put the phone down. He tried to ring back but I ignored the call.
I too just received a call from this number. I remembered the voice from when he had called me last Thursday asking for my boss. I told him that he was not in the office again today and asked if I could help. He asked what my job was and then asked when my boss would be back in again. When I realised this was definitely a sales call I said "I don't think my boss will be interested, Goodbye" and hung up. This is what we do with all sales calls that we aren't interested in and we never usually hear from the company again. However, as soon as I put the phone down it rang again. I picked up and got the same bloke saying "Is this how you treat all your customers by hanging up on them". This made me feel quite guilty as I thought I had assumed wrong. I said sorry and asked if I could help again. The guy replied "I am sorry you are obviously very rude I will call back a later in the week and speak to your boss" and then hung up on me. Thinking that I had just upset a customer I thought I would check the number by googling it and hey presto look what page I found. So glad I am not the only one to be abused by this very rude company.
As for when he calls back at least the whole office is ready with a load full of grief for him!
