My manager received an email about a failed delivery attempt to an address they were provided.  This email was supposedly from SKK Transit, however I could not find a company website or any information on the internet for SKK Transit whatsoever.  The email stated that the product would only be redelivered if I emailed or called them.  When I sent an email, it said that it couldn't deliver because the address either didn't exist or the server was down.  I then spent nearly 1 hour in a queue on the phone before being convinced that this is a scam.  No one in the office had ordered anything, now I am just waiting for the bill...and waiting to get in a lot of trouble at work!!

We just got the same email - luckily identified it as a scam as these 0871 numbers can be charged at anything!!

It really is awful and I don't know of anywhere to complain to.

I tried BT but they did not know what to do either!!

Its such a waste of time and resource and completely unnecessary!

Just had an email from SKK transit asking me to call them to arrange re delivery of order - rang number held for a minute then got a wierd feeling its a scam ! I cannot believe I fell for it- what sort of idiots go to such lengths to steal from others who actually are just innocent individuals who work hard for a living- I am fuming!!!!!!

I'm a self employed estates agent and have recieved many of the below emails, when I first rec one I rang them and was on hold for sometime!!!

This is obviously a scam. I have just called BT to see what we have been charged for calling this number! I have to call them back tomorrow to fing out. Will let everyone know.

Same scam here, too. We're a web development company. Managed to spot there was something odd about it before calling. Name of "William Morris".

Just a note,

0871 numbers can charge you a stupid amount of money, so don't even try to ring them. Its just a scam.
