Got a text message from this number, asking if I wanted to 'chat to Kate'.  Got charged £1.50 to receive it??  I have not subscribed to anything like this!  Can this company just charge me for a receiving a text i know nothing about???

Got the same message and if i get charged boy look out

Dont bother getting the bt phone line for them as its dead

i just recieved a txt from this number, hi my name is kate id love to chat txt start to this number etc....  what a crock, do they think im stupid? but if i get charged to recieve this then thats a bit screwed up aint it?!?!

Just received a text from 68888. Charge of £1.50 apparently. Option to send STOP message - will that cost another £1.50??

Who can stop these people?

Just received one from TRACEY, same thing. Rang my service provider and they will credit back any charges which is great, but how can this be allowed? Surely there can't be a charge to receive this uninvited rubbish?

i just got the text from Tracey and something about Sarah?!? i thought someone was playing a practical joke, but how the hell did this thing get my number and i don't think it charges you because i have no credit and still received the text unless you text them back (which would be really stupid), but i wouldn't worry about it unless they continuously keep texting your number. just ignore it, its probably a small company trying to make money out of advertising.

can we start something like this ....  it sounds like money can be made easily.

Got the same message from Kate as above.  Got number from T-mobile to call - 0871 244 4434.  Was told they will send me a refund in the post.  Will have to wait and see if it turns up!
