Got a call from 0871 6230143 this morning at 9.10.  It rang for a second and stopped.  Sounds like another scam.

Yeah - I got this call as well. The rigntone didnt even get started - the screen just lit up and I had a missed call!

me too, missed call. I rang back and got, "calls to this number are not being connected at this time" In other words, there are so many many people ringing this number back and getting charged that the system is full. I really hate sh*t like this.

it is not just this number there is others too. it is about time that i change my number.

I had a call from this number this morning too, same as the others mentioned.  I  have had numerous calls from 087* numbers over the past months like this, I never call them back.

Anyone know how to trace the number to the registered usr/owner, without actually calling it?

I had a call this morning and the same message when you call back - game to work with someone to scotch this!!

Mobile rang once, rang back (probably cost me a fortune) answerphone message!

Same here - rung once then went off.  I didn't bother to phone back - scam!

WATCH OUT! IF YOU ANSWER THIS CALL YOU WILL GET A VIRUS ON  YOUR PHONE. The phone appears to be completely normal until you either switch if off or replace the battery. These are for all Nokia Phones, Samsung and Sony phones. Good luck!

Just got called too. I fail to see how it will put a virus on your phone somehow - I think thats maybe a scam too!

Just got a missed call, called it back but it went through to answer phone.

Missed call 12.08 today. Haven't rung back.

"missed" call from 08716230143 at 12:30 today (13May08) - rang once and then stopped. I did not call back. I am on tps on this number.
