This is a scam.... These guys will do anything to get your details and te you that you have won a prize

I got the same call today and they told me that I have won to enter into a compotition for a car, so i haev to go to Midrand for a draw.

The same old scammers. Received a call again today from 0878052350 number telling me I have been shortlisted to win a car for a competition I entered at a mall. I do not enter competions via SMS or at malls and the caller was a lost when I asked her what my full names are.

I received a call to my cellular and the woman said if I wanted to go to Midrand to receive a prize, I think she said a car.  I quickly told her I was not interested, I know they want to catch you for something "funny", ilegal .

My daughter also told me she received the same call this morning.

Where do they get our numbers?

I was just called NOW by a lady who told me that I was selected for a 7 day holiday for four people.  She gave me a vooucher number M171.
She gave me the times I cn come collect the holiday voucher nd to bring any form of identification.  She asked if I am married and what surname I use on my drivers licence for catering purposes.  She will call me later to receive the directions to Midrand.  She wanted to know where I will be coming from to get my voucher, I replied tht I live in Midrand.  I knew this call was a scam especially when she said she will give the directions later.  I remember getting  call like this last year telling me I won a car and I should come to Midrand.  These guys seem to be calling on Fridays only telling you to come the next day.  I am waiting for the call to receive directions.  I am not going to answer this call.

The number she gives is 0878052365.  I then checked my phone on which number she called me from, it was 0878052350.

I call yesterday a guy called INNOCENT. he gave me a vooucher number J171.

i got a call a week back telling me that i have won a voucher for one of their resorts promotions, they called for directions but i didnt go. today a guy called David heais d he is a manager called me again today telling me the same story  is this a scam?

I was just called NOW (8 June 2011) by a lady with the name Emily who told me that I won a 5 day holiday for four people for various destinations in South Africa and that it's valid for a year.  She gave me a voucher number J674.
I had to choose between Friday or Saturday to go and collect the holiday voucher and I must take either my id or drivers lisence as form of identification.  Also included is a free lunch and she wanted to know for how many people. She said Sheila will call me on Friday to give me directions to Midrand.  She also wanted to know where I live.
She gave me the number 0878052365 if I want to call her for any info.  I checked my phone to see from which number she called me - the number is 0878052350.
IS THIS A SCAM???? CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME!!!!

I had a missed call and when I tried to return the call, there were no answer, I have tried 5 X.

i got a call from 087 8052365 telling me that i won a voucher to go at any resort of my choice. i have been given a ref number M171 and i have made an appointment to colllect this so"called" voucher. Is this a scam???????????????????????????????????

i also got a call from 0878052365 telling me i won a 4 day holiday getaway to any destination of my choice around SA though. he also gev me a voucher number J461. told me directions as well and he said a lady called Tracey will callme today too confirm if i will be coming and i shuld bring my ID or Drivers licence. they also said tht i filled some forms in a mall around PTA and thats wher i stay. i am also still waiting for Tracye to call me...i think this is a scam and when tracey calls me i wana tell her to go to hell and

Oh my goodness guys it is a scam earlier this year.. i received a call stating that i was in the running to win a car and that i must go to for ways to design quoters  to the draw and how many people i was coming with including my partner and that even if i dont win the car the are other prices too!!!! 2 hours later i got a phone call telling me exactly the same story but i must come to midrand but i didnt go thank go the was a prob with my transport., from then on i knew it was a scam...because it was two differnt people two diffent places the one number was  .0878052350....and the other was..0878052390.....see the difference. NOW today the 21 of june i got a call from the this number 0878052390 saying that ive won a holidayresort for 4, two adults and 2 children under the age of 12 anywhere in south africa, and my ref number was J 171.and that i must wait tomorrow for ANNA to give me the directions to ther design quoters in Fourways...am jst waiting for her to call so that i can tell them off...mxm bloody fools guys thanks for your infor many people really need this !!!!!!please be awere...if there is anybody who has actually gone to their offices please tell us what happend.........dnt keep it to yourself inform others to save people.

I also got a call from this number about me winning a 5 day trip around south africa and must come to midrand to collect a voucher and must wait for tryphine to call me for directions. Is this a scam?

This is a scam [***] delta beware

I also got this call just now, when I asked for a manager, the operator hung up.
I phoned back and laid a complaint (they answer after quite a number of rings)
Afrikaans chap phoned back and indicated his manager will call me.
Dumisani (the manager, I presume) did phone back and got quite aggressive in the end when I mentioned that I will be seeking legal advice.

won a gift voucher is it a scam

I got a call today from Breakaway Communications in Midrand, called back and got the manager's name, Nash.
He said I can go to the DMA website and have my number listed as a do not ever call number. It is the website for Direct Marketing Association.
He promised to have my number removed this morning at 11am and guess what, I received my last call at 15:00 again!!
I hope the DMA website will help.
