They cold you you and say they are in your area this week to try and sell you roller shutters and try to say you will get a discount because they will show your home as a display on their website.

Stupid lady called me from this number today. I got no clue at all what she is trying to sell. No idea where did she get my number. If I know, I will definitely report.

Also received a call on a business mobile with no message left.

I received unsolicited calls from this number.
The calls were missed calls.
I rang the number and its Modern Built Home Improvements.

Had a call, but they hung up as I answered.  For those who can't imagine how a home improvement company got their phone number, did you recently attend a show stand and enter a competition for free home improvements?  My call was less than a week after the Royal Adelaide Show.

I've just had the same number call me twice to day on my mobile, when I answer they just seem to hang! Pain in the axx when you have to stop what your doing to answer the phone and get no answer!

i would appreciate it if this number stopped ringing me because it is annoying as hell and is constantly calling me during work hours and when i pick up they hang up and im sick of it!

I have had two calls in the last week. I know it is not solicited when they ask to speak to Mr or Mrs when I am neither. I have not attended any trade fairs or the show, yet they have my mobile number so I don't believe the person is right about me having giving out my number - I never do. I do not go to shopping centres very often either and have never spoken to any home improvement people at the shops. I don't know how they get your mobile number when it is not listed in the phone book or attached to my facebook account.

Be ware of the 'modern' company, or maybe bromoco, i got stung by them last year when they cold call me to sell solar power systems

How many times do you have to tell these people not to call you, I found out today that they got the number from a previous employee in 2006.
I've had this number since 2008 and have told them on numerous occasions that this is a business phone and that I don't want to be called and would they remove the number off their list. Today the woman asked if I'd spoken to a supervisor or manager about getting the number removed from there call list! over the past 5 years I've had numerous calls from them and every time I have told them that the previous user does not own the number anymore and I am NOT interested and don't want to be contacted, don't they check their record?
I am registered with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (the ACMA) www.donotcall.gov.au, but you need to update your registered numbers every time you get a new number (which I hadn't).

Yup, these idiots have been calling me over the last week repeatedly... they never leave a message.  Telemarketing should be illegal between Christmas and New Years, nobody is working hard at that time... or nobody should be! :-P

This company has been calling me for over two years!! I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling me as I am NOT interested in anything they have to sell. But still they keep calling! They are either stupid or don't care. I now let my answering machine take messages and get back to people if it's important.

I just called the number (Modern Group) and asked for my name to be taken off their contacts list..she said it would take 30 days.
