I had this numer on my monthly phone bill.

I've recently seen some attempts to hack our phone system (Asterisk) and to issue calls to this number. Abuse!

The company behind this telephone number DAOPAY/DAOTEC in the U.K. and Austria tried (over a third company in Cologne, Germany) to collect €30,00 from my telephone/internet provider. They say I called this 0900 number three times, which I did not.
I have found similar complaints in German language consumer complaint websites.

we just received a bill from DaoTec and the usual threats "if you do not pay we will send in the laywers". What did you pay - just pay or was there a way out?

Mein Sohn hat diese Telefonnummer auch auf seinem Telefon, er versicherte mir aber hoch und heilig das er diese nicht angerufen hat. Wir müssen 100 € bezahlen. Was kann ich dagegen tun, daß dies nicht mehr passiert ?

Inwieweit die Aussage deines Sohnes richtig ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Spielt er denn ein Online- Spiel, bei dem man irgendwelche Dinge (ich glaub Coins heist das)dazukaufen kann? Wenn ja, würde ich ihn nochmal ins Gebet nehmen.
Vorsorglich kannst du 0900-Nummern beim Anbieter sperren lassen.
