Its market research ... and a very rude one at that.  Said I wasn't interested and was told I had no choice and HAD to give them the information they required (i.e. personal details).  Ended up hanging up on her as she was shouting down the phone at me!!!  I have now registered on TPS website (free) to stop these calls as I get about 10 a week!

i keep getting calls from this number asking for a mr edmundson, how many times do i have to tell the same person again and again that no one lives here by that name, next time i will say i am mr edmundson and see who and wot its about, if i find out i will post to expose them all over the internet

just recieved a call from above number askin for mr b, only just had virgin landline installed and recieve at least 5 a wk, registered with TPS and still they get through. ggrr
