- john gadsdonregarding a loan of 500 pounds was told to call back with my details
tis was number was withheld on my phone but given verbally- Caller: no name
- CharlesWas called by this person twice saying my application for a loan had been approved and what was left was to have the money transferred into my bank account. To get the money I was to call this number 'to aggree with the lender on what package would best suit me' and the call would cost £1.50/minute which would be refunded if I called from a landline or a mobile contract line. As I had applied for loans online I thought it was genuine but then decided that if a lender wanted to give me a loan why would they want me to call them on a premium number? They wanted my business and cannot want me to be the one who spends money which I do not have that way. So I did not call the number. A female caller first called from Tel Number: 0161 246 0200 then the following day a male called from a witheld number. I am expecting them to call again today when they don't get my callback and I intend to record the call and get the audio clip to the police.
- Caller: I hope to get it when they call again.
- colin mochanMy Wife recieved a txt advising she had been excepted for a loan. She called the number and was charged £20.00 this was a total scam.
- ShaunI was called today by a withheld number and they said a number of companies was willing to give me a credit card of up to £2000, they gave me they above number and said to ring from a contract moblie or landline as i would be given a full refund on the call. Looks like scam to me
- francwas called at work saying i had been accepted for a credit card and to ring 09064001838 (which i discovered is a premium number) to ring from a landline quoting a number to verify my details and i would be reimbursed for the call sounded dodgy so didnt ring. 01252555075 have tried ringing a couple of times on my mobile but just ignored so glad i didnt ring them as i see its now a scam
- Caller: UCC
- alcalled by 01612460200 and they told me i had been acepted by a loan company and needed t o ring this number to verify by details so it could be placed into my bank account, man on phone seemed very genuine, butdidnt understand why when i called the 01612460200 number that noone answered and was just a rrecorded message, seems a little strange to me, and they informed me i would be charged £1.50 a minute for the phone call to this number

We do not lend the money ourselves, but take your details through our telephone service, and pass them on to our extensive panel of lenders with the intent of them making an offer of finance to you directly.
We are a legitimate company - we have a UK based call centre just outside Manchester, our full postal contact can be found here: http://horizonfinance.co.uk/contact.aspx, Our company registration number is 03173946, our consumer credit licence number is 0503842, we are also registered with the Information Commissioners Office number Z1523771. This is further supported by our ISO 9001 award for approved quality management systems, both of which demonstrate our commitment to staff training to ensure the service received by our clients is fully compliant at all times.
We like to be open and honest with our clients and as such we would never promise you a loan, nor would we discuss typical APR’s with you as this is ultimately the decision of the lender and would very much depend upon your individual circumstances.

- barryWot the is going on with this dodgy number
- barry replies to reply julie| 1 replyAnd how much do yu charge to make one PREMION phone call
- George replies to barryHave they told you that you have been approved for the loan but you need to 'phone the Premium Rate number to finalise? This is the way they usually operate. The calls cost £1.53 per minute and they keep you on the 'phone for as long as possible so that you end up with a huge bill. Some people have had as much as £30 and more. They say you can reclaim the 'phone cost if you do not get a loan, which is every time as there is not and never has been a loan. They say the refund will take 45 days after which time they send youi an e-mail with a code number on it. You have to taker that code to the Post Office to get your refund. Unfortunately, they have a habit of giving you an incorrect number so the Post Office won't accept it and you have to start again, including waiting the 45 days! They never give loans and have been exposed in the Daily Mirror and on Panorama.
