Please stop this mad text messaging

There is a way to stop this cowboy outfit sending unsolicited text messages. Go to the Advertising Standards Authority and make a complaint about these persistant and unwanted spam messages. I've gone through the ASA twice to stop getting Martin Bishop racing messages and I've been free of this rubbish for 6 months now. Below is a link to the ASA complaint page -

Believe me, if I ever got my hands on the clown behind this so-called tipster service he'd never send another text message again.

THIS PERSON IS SENDING TEXTS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY TO MY SON'S PHONE. MY SON IS 15 AND HAS LEARNING DIFFICULTIES. HE THOUGHT HE HAD TO RING THE NUMBER BACK BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THE TEXT SAID. CONSEQUENTLY HE NOW HAS A PHONE BILL OF £116 THIS MONTH.
WE HAVE TEXTED 'STOP' BUT IT DOES NOT STOP.

There is a link to the ASA on this page and I suggest you report it there, giving them all the details regarding your son.  I also suggest you contact these pests via the link on page 1 and tell them youwant a payment to cover your son's 'phone bill.  You should also report them to Trading Standards.  There is absolutely no excuse for what they have done.

Stop texting us you goddamn templar!

These have now dried up only to be replaced by identical messages from a Lee Bolingbroke offering a tips service on 09040491000.  As with Martin Bishop, replying 'stop' has only increased the number of messages.  I rather suspect that the two might be linked...

Thanks for the info above for Payhphoneplus and the ASA.  I've reported it to both but don't hold out much hope.

I messaged Martin bishop on his website to cancel these texts, iv also texted him stop, they did for a few weeks then started again, nothing has changed, Im still recieving 8-12 messages a day from him and the "Pro Gambler aka Simon Elliot", I have collected over one hundred texts numbers from them does anybody know the best way to make a complaint and get them fined?

I started recieving messages and calls from MBR, decided to give them a whirl and after a couple of their tips I'm over £500 in profit. The relentless messages are infuriating but I took a chance and it paid off. If they get to enough chancers like me who has the odd gamble, they'll continue to bother people

Any new information on how to cancel these txt? I've never even heard of this website until I started receiving the 7+ txts a day!! I have emailed, called and replied 'Stop' & 'STOP' to the messages and I'm still receiving them!! I am in a contract with my phone provider so changing my number is not a cheap alternative - please someone help me it's driving me insane!!

There are several suggestions in posts preceding yours.  You can report this lot to the Advertising Standards Authority Phonepayplus and The Information Commissioner's Office and in each case mention harassment.  You can email the company concerned and tell them what you are doing.

Thanks George, I have emailed MBR and told them n left a voicemail and just as I got off the phone another message came through!! I will definitely contact those companies now because this is getting beyond a joke!!
