My iPhone tried to dial this number out today!

Charged me for 5 seconds!

Not sure who it is, it only happened when I lunched an application

Very strange... my iPhone dialed the same number not long after I launched an app too!!!

Suggests that if you accidently tap an advert banner that appear in some apps, it will just dial a premium rate number without any further warning....

Think this is what have happened to me...

Very interesting I have now deleted the app incase the same happens again.

I now have a nice charge from o2 to pay now.....

i was woeking on my laptop and looked over and seen i was calling this number and when i phoned it too see was informed it cost 150 a min not happy going to call o2 tomorrow

I was on a Violin Tuner app today and as I was using it i realized that it was dialing this number. I managed to end call at 14 secs. Will it charge me allot?

had this number come up twice on my iphone bill and i have not even dialled it, £1.50 per minute, am going to contact t-mobile today to have it stopped......

my iphone has made two calls to this number and when i tried it from a landline is some kind of high performance sports cars sales.  I have defo never rang it.  Downloaded quite a few apps though so how do i know which one did it.

This number has appeared on my bill but I have never called it.

Same happened to me this morning, Must have been from a banner from a free app . How do I stop this. I lost 5 pounds.

I have had 2 entries on O2 iphone bill, each for £1.70 This is obviously a complete scam, possibly from the adverting banners on some of the free apps.

I had this one as well - it came from Word Shaker Lite. Realised I clicked on the Advert by mistake and shut it as quick as I could - I was convinced I'd done it before I got through but the bill says £1.70 for 16 seconds.

This is a disgrace. I will probably delete the app as the full version costs less than this call!

Just for info - I recommend setting up a premium bar on your account so that it is not allowed to call 09 numbers. The only downside is you have to take it off to use your phone abroad and then put it back on after.

£11.48 on my iPhone bill for this number.

Is there anyway to restrict the iphone from making this unwanted call? I have also been charged £1.70 for a 4second call and i NEVER call 090 numbers!

My daughter is 21 months and i always let her play on my iphone as i have baby/child apps, im not guna let her anymore as she run me up a bill of £15.90 to this number!!!!!

My little girl has run up £5.00 playing with a toddler's "make your own cupcake" application. There was a small luxury car banner at the bottom. Theiving B*@!*@@?.

I have also been done for £13 after my daughter played on some of the apps - does anyone know the name of the company and as I want to email the thieving bast$%&£!!

This has put me off my iphone now.....

what app was it that you launched - I'm having the same problem?
