1111111111

1-111-111-111 Is the number that shows up on caller ID, so it is short one digit from what's been reported here. Calls come in roughly 2 hours apart, and I have not answered any of them. No calls came in on Sunday or Labor Day.

THEY CALL ATLEAST 12-20 TIMES A DAY, AND WHEN YOU ANSWER THERE IS ONLY A NOISE THAT SOUNDS LIKE A COMPUTER DIALING UP ON A DIAL UP SERVICE. I CALLED MY PHONE COMPANY AND THEY TRYED TO TRACK IT AND COULD NOT. I HAD TO FINELY CHANGE MY NUMBER. I HAVE PACKET8 VOIP PHONE COMPANY/SERVICE. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHO THIS WAS CALLING AND WHY, CAUSE THEY CALLED FROM 5-6AM TILL 2-3 AM THE NEXT DAY THERE WERE VERY FEW HOURS THEY DIDN'T CALL. I TRIED TO CALL BACK BUT ANY TIME I CALLED THE NUMBER IT WOULD BE BUSY... HELP ME?

I got such a call today at 11:14am (CST).

I recently started receiving these calls about 3 times a day. They never say anything though. I just here a "click" sound like someone hung up.

I had this call come in for someone else on my cell phone.  This person has no connection to it, but when I asked for their identification the caller hung up. Any ideas where this number comes from and how many companies use it? Can it be blocked?

I got another phone call from this 1-111-111-111 number only this time I was able to get some information.  When I first answered an automated system came on and said to please hold for an important call.  Finally, a man picked up and asked for someone I was not familiar with but acted like I knew him.  He asked to speak with him and I told him he was not available could I take a message.  The man asked for an alternated contact number for this person and I told him I had none but wanted to know why they were contacting me on my cell phone looking for him.  The man proceeded to tell me my number was on his credit application as an employment verification number.  I explained to him that it was my private cell phone not business please remove my number as a point of contact.  He then apologized but did tell me what company he was with.  The number that shows up on your caller id is a new routing number used by companies that are trying to collect on past due bills and collections.  Most people will answer their phone out of curiosity but it is being used by many companies not just one.  Beware!!!

I keep getting calls from this #. No one is on the other end and it is becoming very annoying.

HELP STOP THIS HARASSMENT!!! WANT TO GET SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS??? NOT ONLY REPORT IT BY FILLING OUT THE FORM ON THE FCC WEBSITE!!! BUT CALL THE FCC 1-888-225-5322(EVERY TIME IT HAPPENS). MOST LIKELY THE FCC PHONE RECORDING WILL SAY, AFTER A LONG WAIT... (THAT THEY ARE RECEIVING ALOT OF CALLS, PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER), HANG-UP YOUR PHONE AND CALL RIGHT BACK!!! AFTER YOUR 3rd-4th CALL, THEY WILL ANSWER!!! IF WE ALL KEEP DOING THIS, MAYBE THEY WILL GET SICK OF US ALL CALLING & AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS HARASSMENT BY THESE PEOPLE/COMPANY??? CALLING US IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT (AM) IS WRONG!!! PEOPLE ARE THINKING THESE CALLS ARE AN EMERGENCY CALL, NOT COOL!!! HELP STOP THIS HARASSMENT...

Received call from 414-431-0457 (number shown on caller i.d. and name shows as Airespring Inc).  Have been receiving steady calls all hours of day and night from 919-864-6178 and 312-470-8599, and when I don't pick up they are followed by "Unknown Name-Unknown Number".  Some of the calls have been obscene.

What is the point of calling every two hours with a no name/no returnable phone number, not leaving a message?  If 1-111-111-111 is indeed a collection agency (and I don't have ANY outstanding bills) what do they hope to gain?  How can I block these calls?

I just got my first 1 111-111-1111 call. It was weird, it only rang for a couple of seconds... I didn't answer it.
I got another call a couple of months ago but it was a 555-555-5555...

Most likly this is compter program seeing what time of day people answer the call, so they can sell you phone number and the times you answer the phone. So don't answer the phone when you see that number!!

I got 5 calls from 9:30 am to around 11:00 am today. They leave no message.
I do have a son who has given my # as a contact. He does have past due bills.
If it is collection people, why not leave a call back #. I don't answer calls from 111-111-1111 or 000-000-0000. I've tried to block the 111's but it doesn't work. I blocked the 000's in Sept 07 and haven't got any more calls so far.

Someone has called my home four times today. Caller id. shows phone number
111 111 1111 name unknown. Iwould like too know how to get rid of this problem.This has been going on app.six to eight weeks.

I have received numerous calls from this number.  Most the time it is just click, click, click and then it hangs up.  Today I answered it.  A woman was calling, said she was with a research company and wanted to ask a few questions.  I think she said the company was Alliance Research, not sure.  But anyway, I said take me off your list and do not ever call this number again.  I could hear people in the background talking and laughing so maybe it was a legitimate call.  I then told the woman goodbye and hung up.

I just received this same call. I did not answer it as I never answer the phone if it's a number I don't recognize. After reading the comments here, I'm glad I didn't answer and I anticipate, I'll still be receiving calls from this same number in the future. Perhaps, the advise to contact the FCC is a good idea.

We get these calls from 111-111-1111 and at the worst times, also sometimes with a "5" somewhere near the end of the number, sometimes a few 5's,...we do not owe anyone, please call CALL THE FCC 1-888-225-5322 and report this, keep calling the FCC back if no answer!, this number is calling our home, as well as one of our cell phones, the two numbers are NOT with the same account name,and are only linked by the address, we have started a new business however and the only thing I can think about is something that was filled out? insurance carriers that have both numbers? and we recently switched insurance carriers? who knows, but I know on some cell phone carriers you can block numbers as well as I will try to block it today with our home Vonage carrier, someone has to do something about this, if there is a lawyer out there maybe we can get this taken care of and make them pay monetarily for their problems they are causing.

Call came in 12/12/2007 at 5:08 PM.  A waste of their and my time, as I do not answer calls when I can not identify the caller.  I am becomming militant on this subject, and will call FCC after second call from same source.

I have recieved calls from this number for about a week straight, it is linked to First National Bank in Sioux Falls South Dakota.

I keep getting text messages. they say they are from my girlfriend's number, but its not her sending them. the from adress is 1-111-111-111. Who is this?
