I got three of these messages this morning....

I got a text from this number, too. Replied to it. The reply to MY reply came from Singular saying I had replied to an automatic site that is not monitored. I had just changed something online on my ATT&T account, now merged with Singular, and so received that text. I called ATT&T and it was verified that the text came from them. - Not to worry. It's a free text, also!

I got a call on March 3rd stating "Card Payment Confirmation #*************** for $5573.51 paid 03/03/08 posted to account ********* on 03/03/08.

got a similar text Card Payment Confirmation #****** for $279.30 paid 9/18/08 posted to account ******** on 9/18/08.

Whats the Card Payment Confirmation for? #***************? and account ********* what is this?

In my case it was ATT notifying of an update to my AutoPay, which was done automatically in connection with my receiving a credit card renewal with a new expiration date.

Just got the same text; called AT&T; turns out it's a rebate credited to my phone bill as part of a purchase deal on a new phone I got in Sept 09

Its a scam.  AT&T wireless will not send texts notifying of account information.  (sending this text because email delivery failed)

Received yet another TXT at 4 AM stating
"1111487799 : AT&T FREE MSG: AutoPay Enrollment Change Confirmation -
conf #APCMAT########. Your change request has been processed."

One main problem here:
That's NOT my account number (I used #'s for the numbers on here)
AND we did NOT change anything on our account or even pay our
bill in the last few days, as it was paid 2 weeks ago.

Sounds VERY fishy to me.

Will be contacting AT&T directly asking them what's up, because this
is clearly NOT for us and I'd like for the TXT's to STOP, especially
when they are coming in between 2 AM and 6 AM CST!

Also, TXTing them back does NOT work either, as I tried to send
them a STOP message and it could not be sent to this number.

Same thing here, happened just now.

I got a text messsage like the ones posted above. I called right after I got it and talked to a CS rep who told me that it was a text message confirming a payment to my account. I asked if it was a scam and she said it was not. I am not worried.

I'm not supposed to have text msg service but got msg from 111-148-7799 a few minutes ago.  Don't want to look at it and don't even know how to look at it, but am unhappy about the call as I've entered my cell number on "no call" list.

It is a real AT&T message. If your name is listed on top for your company phone bill you will get the payment notice.

After several phone calls and complaints AT&T refused to change this text message to an email stating it could only be done via SMS (short message) to my phone.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.  They instantly changed it to email.  Go here to put a stop to this irritant:

Received a cell Text Message. Because of the strange number, I never read the text message.

No worries.  I called AT&T to pay my corporate account...had to give them a new credit card info cause the one I had on record had expired.  This is just an acknowledgement of my payment...its not a problem.

Received a text "Bypass our automated phone system with myAT&T Business app att.com/businessmobile

I just got call from this number,no message left.
