there was two number that called there was 111-222-3333 and 123-456-7890

who are these people?

Did i really win an IPad??? They call everyday and once i picked up and they said " Hello, this is Martin Luther King" (i thought ugh.... as if this is believable) "i am outside your house and am wondering if you want your IPad that you won

Received a call from this # 1112223333 came up as High Voltage on my caller ID. When I answered the other line said NYPD, did you call for the police? Did you call for the police?

He call my house at 3:00 am. person crazy!! me sleep and he call when I sleep. he say me won IPAD. he scammer. where he from!!

I called the cops and hung up they called me back from this number so I think its the cops

Not very believable.  Especially when this thread is mentioning fake iPod scam as well.

Lol it is a made up number, to hide the real number. I got a call from 11112223333 and it was nyc police department calling on a previous call I did at 911.

I just got into an accident and called them and when I hung up, about an hour after they called three times and i didn't pick up neither of the 3 times and then right after they called my father and I thought it was a scam number because my dads number is right after mine like ours is one number apart. So idk

This 11112223333 number called. I didn't even answer. If it was NYPD they shouldn't call from such a weird looking number. I thought it was another telemarketing scam or something. They got no answer from me!

I get a call that my computer needs some work. I tell them I do not have a computer.  So they hang up. I hope the NSA or FBI are on this scam.  Cal was on August 29 2015 5:30 pm in the state of Atlanta georgia

Yes 1112223333 is the New York City Police Department. Usually when you call the police and they need to call you back for more details as to why you called the called ID will be that number. If you didn't call 911 then maybe someone who did gave your number by mistake, so they just so happened to give the wrong number to the operator and the wrong number belonged to you.
